Gary was just lucky he ran into an idiot like Skip instead of someone who knows enough to counter that whatever help Jordan had was based on the fact that Jordan himself helped develop players around him instead of running for the hills. Jordan didn't join stars. They came as average players that he helped develop. Even Pippen averaged only 7 points in his first year. Second, as far a Jackson, people are not stupid enough to believe that the success of the Bulls was more the result of Jackson's smarts than Jordan's will to win. Gary and plenty other stars from the 90s looking to undermine Jordan's greatness are just hating on someone who presented a barrier in their own quest to become great.

Marvin Santana the reason why he said that was because John Stockton was one of the best players ever to move without the ball. He's constantly moving. Have you heard of Karl Malone and Antoine Carr? Probably not. Imagine a point guard who is barely 210 lbs having to get picked on every play by a 6'10" 285+ player every play and they knew how to pick and role perfectly. Do your research. If LeBron ever faced a team whose 3 main guys are Stockton, Malone, and Hornacek that team would be swept. And just to clarify: I said MJ never faced a dynasty. You see, he played a different team in the finals every year because there was no dominant team holding down the west like The Spurs and Warriors were in the King James era. The bottom line is this.... the league was not as competitive when MJ came in and throughout his career as it was when LeBron came in and throughout his. To call that untrue is to say MJ didn’t move the league forward. So is that what you’re trying to say? Jordan didn’t move the league forward from a competition-level standpoint? Lastly, stop saying MJ did this and MJ did that. He was 1-9 in the playoffs w/out Pippen’s monster defensive impact. So MJ, Pippen, and the best shooters of that era beat the old Lakers. During his 2nd run he had Pip and Rodman. 2 legends plus the greatest coach in NBA history. He quit rather than challenge himself to see how he’d stack up without Pippen and Phil too but I guess that’s the make up of the all-time greatest.

I also don't get people's logic about Kevin Durant being best player in the world -- how can he be the best player in the world after joining arguably the greatest regular season team in NBA history, and they beat him in the conference finals when the OKC had a 3-1 lead.
