Күн бұрынIn 2010 Barrett adopted this superior method of retaining a gas block on the REC7 carbine. No pins or set screws that can distort a bore or come loose. Added bonus; no special wrench required.

I own a gen2 rec7 and it’s amazing. Everything weapon that Ronnie and Chris Barrett make is perfection

Funny, Title says REC 7 while the barrel is clearly stamped .308 Win. Is it a Rec 7 DI or a REC 10 DI? Probably me being overly critical as the threaded nut is being used across the board. 😉 Cheers!

And if one day, you have to change it ,,,,,,,, how would you do it? Because it is not like the others, which are sold ,,,

It;s .750 so you can install pretty much anything. Although, some gas blocks won't fit if you still want to use the nut. And you need to drill retaining holes if you don't use clamp style gas block. So the only problem is that at least half of the adjustable gas blocks are not compatible (because the adjustment screw is where the nut would hold the gas block)
