Yeh nice mate think you will enjoy it in the technical stuff ,, i dont realy miss the 500 grunt ,not in the forest , just fitted full red plastics and graphics on my EC350f ,finally found a FMF rct 4.1 in stock ,the bigger header pipe would be nice too but almost as much as the muffler ...ill get rex to put a rune it next week ,2 stoke air filter cage with no mesh helps it breath too, .suspension well with my weight 70kg its ok till i really push hard on the open stuff .typical Wp crap oc forks no bottoming resistance ,work nice in technical terrain though ,

Good info and feedback, I might test the air cage out. I'm going to try do a cheap mod to internals of stock exhaust before I go down aftermarket route

Great vid Trent (both episodes 1&2) thanks for handy tips like switching around the starter button setup. Just changing from a 17FE450 to 21EC350F. The headlight shape is pretty lame compared with Huskies & KTM. I was thinking of putting on something aftermarket like the Acerbis LED headlight that looks better, and brighter. Do you know if can you fit the Husky ones?

Thanks Edward. I know they run the same plug for power, so that won't be an issue. And the straps that go around the forks are the same across all three brands. The only thing I can think may be an issue is the mounting points on front mudguard where the headlight sits. I know the ktm and gas gas are the same but unsure about husky.

Looking at buying the 250 of these, what pre delivery did your dealer do? What did they supply you with when you purchased the bike?

Pre delivery is normally just putting the bike together and giving it a once over, they also remove alot of the European restrictions before handing it over. The bike comes with a few small extras ( manual, tool kit, some of the rego gear depending on how the dealer sells them)

Any half decent graphics company will do tank shrouds by themselves without needing a full kit

Hi Michael, no in its current form (restricted exhaust and stock suspension) it would be uncompetitive and dangerous at Don dash with the speeds. I will be on the 500 for the race.

Hey man. Your content and info is excellent. I’ll just give you this advice. Your audio is really bad. If you fix that you’ll up your already high standard of content to an really good level. You’ve got the skills. You ve got the knowledge, a little audio and audio you’ll be set. Maybe get a second had wireless go. ( a cordless mic with a receiver) and you’ll be set. Currently your audio sounds tinny and far away. ΤHank’s for sharing.. btw. I just bought a gas gas 350 same as yours. Keen to try it out. I’m a shit rider but I had a 2014 husky 501. Way too much. Ike for me. I agree. Less is sometimes more.

Thanks for the feedback, all of the recent videos are filmed with an external mic on the camera, and all voice overs are recorded with a microphone. Haven't had any reports or issues with bad audio before this one beside some old videos soelly recorded on go pros, so not sure what else can be done. All the audio is level balanced and matched in the editing software. It could possibly be the device your watching on?
