Old post but just to clarify.... OP had it right the first time regarding tailgating. If both cars choose to smash, it is calculated as 1 die to roll as the attacker for the rear car but the front car has to calculate separately and in this case, would not be allowed a die roll. It still qualifies as a smash though and would result in two hazards for each car even if the rear car chose to evade first. Another rule is that if the front car is in a higher gear, then both cars MUST evade but only take 1 hazard each.

If you have a collision and the 2 hazards added make you have 6 and need to wipe out and you flip. Do you ignore the car/obstical you just hit and move through it as if it wasn't there? (For the medium straight for flipping).

Would really like to see how movement is and isn’t affected by a collision. The book makes it very confusing. I hope to see how vehicles move into and out of a collision. I was hoping it was covered in this video, but unfortunately not. Thanks very much for the info that you you did include...very helpful.

It's not clear to me, too, but from what I understand, speed/gear is not affected.

The next turn they basically move on as normal. It's a bit abstract - imagine that the vehicles move past and clipped each other, or the car ploughed straight through a wall like in a goofy action movie.

The point of "Ignoring Obstructions" r ule would also be interesting

You do loose 1-2dice if your car is small or light? When hitting the building?

Building would be considered heavy. So it would be the same amount of dice lost as if hit by heavy vehicle.
