Hola, es un concepto que aparece en Correa de Arauxo. Se trata de la falsa relación cromática que se produce en la dominante cuando una de las voces hace una cadencia de soprano (do-si-do, solo como dominante de do) y otra voz sale de la dominante en una escapada hacia la nota sib( sol la sib la sol fa mi) simultáneamente 🙂. Henry Purcell la usa mucho y por eso algunos la llaman cadencia inglesa. Yo la llamo cadencia de Arauxo. Disculpa que no te respondí antes, ya que no vi la notificación del Google. Saludos

Thank you so much Xavier! although I'm not guitarist, but lute player, I will probably spend the next days studying your video. I have a question : WHY, (and it's a bit confusing for ex-jazz players) the Abecedario is one tone below the usual anglo-saxon system where A stands for La, B/H for Si... ? This Abecedario italiano of 1674 used by Gaspar Sanz is the same than the one used by Monteverdi almost one century before (Alfabeto published by Montesardo in 1606),

Hi Jean-Yves, actually from what we know, the Alfabeto has nothing to do with theanglo-saxon name of the notes. I struggle through it my self too :)
