What about the mother who KNOWS FOR SURE the father is on drugs? And he refused a drug test from dcf? And he was a GATEKEEPER DAD until she found her girls covered in lice, missing 45 + days of school, no underwear, no food no decent housing? He wants the kids so he can get child support - or not have to pay it. He lives in a known drug house. He also abandoned the kids in a rented trailer (where he did not pay a dime in rent) at the very time the sheriff evicted them - so my daughter provided a safe and healthy home for them. Now he wants to take the kids. Dcf approved them with her, he is trying to use a 2 year old temporary custody order to get the sheriff take them away. Help.

Unwed, paternity in Wyoming established, used custodyxexchange signed and notarized, mom unilaterally moving to Florida... if she becomes the gatekeeper mom and alienates me later down the road and we bring our agreement and I bring all my records of our agreed upon child support, health insurance for the child, I've paid all travel for mom and child, and bring records of all assistance otherwise, and bring those records and we end up in court in Florida... am I going to be hit with 24 months back support or do I have legal ground to stand upon with an unfavorable look at the picture toward her in Florida?

Gatekeeper mom is not a legal term… you are describing PAS however that is also a theory. If a mother is protective 99% of the time it is due to abuse.

Sure, PAS is a theory when considering whether it’s a syndrome or not. That’s debunked although far from the point. Although PA(parental alienation), “gate keeping” behaviors don’t necessarily need a diagnosis as 99% of these mothers that alienate, gatekeep etc typically have some sort of personality disorder. It’s the ongoing actions and behaviors over a long period of time that cause the alienation. Many alienating parents (typically moms) will claim, have a narrative they are “protecting” yet have no foundation/evidence. The kid becomes emotionally/mentally enmeshed with the alienated parent, taking on these narratives yet having no personal experience themselves. The poor kid begins to experience splitting dynamics and while these behaviors of the kid are acted out, witnessed by outsiders, it is also the false reassurance/validation to the alienating parenting they are indeed correct as they point to the child as evidence and the need to “protect” Many and most professionals oversee and miss this type of abuse that occurs.
