I once watched Ken climo at frisbee fest ‘72 in Montreal. He skimmed a 4 foot 9 height increased slider through five bramble bushes, I’ll never forget it.

I don’t know why but I had been thinking about how Gannon could possibly be the next Ken Climo type of player. I think his demeanor is so established for a young guy. Just seems to be so calm and ready for the moment.

Did that commentator say he got it to fade AGAIN?? Wtf was that guy talking about? Super impressive shot but it only faded once at the end of the flight which has nothing to do with why that shot was good.

It was on hyzer angle twice is probably what he meant. Which is hard to do flipping to flat that aggressively yet still coming back out on hyzer.

I usually can’t stand that announcer but he that comment makesperfect sense to me …thrown on hyzer, fades to flat, then finishes with a fade

@@allenmostafa9382 Couldn’t you say that about basketball, baseball, or any other big sport? Granted, disc golf is tiny in comparison, but the top athletes in disc golf aren’t making $100mil a year either. I think the salary is fair considering the size of the sport.

@@allenmostafa9382 Defninition of sport: an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment. Considering that stuff like curling and skateboarding are sports, and are even in the Olympics, I don’t really see why disc golf wouldn’t be a sport. It’s competitive, difficult, and takes years to master. Many people do play it recreationally, but people play sports like baseball and basketball casually too.
