I now own these switches and I love them! It's become my #1 switch and the best long-pole light tactile I've had to date. But, Gateron, please! For the love of God, either provide an unlubed option or stop using that factory lube, it's really bad and sticky. It was painful removing it, especially that you've recently began throwing it inside the bottom housing pole as well. This was my complaint for Azure Dragon V1, Baby Kangaroo, and now Beer. I can't buy future Gateron switches if this keeps persisting, it's an annoying process. Also, Beer seems to suffer from leaf chirping unless you lube the metal leaf contact (both front and back). I fixed it with TriboSys 3203. That might reduce the tactility a bit but I couldn't notice it since 3203 is too light.

Hi friend, It's glad to hear from you and we will take this feedback to our company seriously. Thank you for your suggestions. Lubrication has always been a challenge issue and we'll take it seriously. Of course a non-lubricated version is a good suggestion. Also, regarding the question about the sound of the leaf, since it's a heavy tactile so it can be a bit challenging. We are optimizing it as well and hope the switch can be able to meet you guys sooner. Have a good day:)

@@gateronofficial Hi, just wanted to say about the leaf sound, there have been mods shared in the community involving putting strips of poron foam on the leaf to dampen that ping sound. For myself, I used small strips of electrical vinyl tape, and it seems to have made the ping less prominent. I don't know if this is feasible for Gateron to do as a company, but I wonder if there might be similar ways of adding something to just dampen the structure-borne sound by just adding something on that leaf.

This seems like a dream for light tactile + long pole users! Thanks for making the switch. By the way, how does this compare to the Gateron Mini i? There's no information about the Mini i anywhere.

Typing sounds are a bit too high pitched for me, irritating, but might be better on a different keyboard. Otherwise, I think this might not be all there's cracked up to be, low actuation force is good, but all that marketing jazz around something that should be 'objective' (like a mechanical device that has to obey the universal laws of reproducible physics) is turning me off. I also wonder if you own a license to use the minecraft eating sound in a commercial advert...but I'm not gonna rat you out or anything. I merely think that this is too suspect and somewhat grating for me to consider.
