The Gateron Black Inks are a linear switch, 60g actuation force. They likely NEED lubing and filming (mine were wobbly!). But they sound gooooood.

for me that have been using 50g switch (GMYs and CJs) for almost 6 months, typing with ink blacks is actually tiring. but on the positive side, the sound is amazing. the feel of GMY and CJ is like pushing on marshmallows, the soft calm feel, after switching for the lubed ink blacks, I feel like typing on hard ATM buttons (haha) regardless of the price, i still prefer the CJs/GMYs, but I haven't tried spring swap the ink blacks because of the inkblacks spring quality

Your channel is SUPER underrated, and I am glad I found it! The quality of your videos is incredible. Its surely only a matter of time before you grow even more. Also, that switch and keycap combo sounds great on the kbd67 lite :D

Awesome video, I think black inks look like durock v2s, also.. AMAZING KEYBOARDS, there’s Pom jelly’s and blank keycaps and white blank keycaps, anyways awesome video. I wish I had all the stuff for keyboards but my parents are kinda strict about buying stuff so.

Some people say Gateron has secretly updated their molds for the black ink v2 so that they don't need filming anymore. I don't know if this is true or how you could identify your Black Inks being from a newer batch tho.

I have no clue lol, but maybe if they appear tighter? i.e. don't need films? I kinda hate how secretive these companies are with their materials >_

@@KeebNews I can now confirm that you seem to have the older version of the V2s. You can identify the newer batch by looking at the RGB section, if it has some plastic in the middle its a newer batch, if its "free" its an older one. If you're interested: Keybored just released a short about it.

would the rattle in the space bar be due to the stabs or keycap? i don't think it would be the switch in this case right?

I think you have the wrong perspective. The keyboard is not experiencing the switch, *you* are. If you want to save money and time, check out Gateron Milky Yellows, although there is a difference in the spring rate so they might not be appropriate for you. Obviously, there will be diminishing returns even if you consider yourself a connoisseur.
