This loco was sick when I received it. Two of the steam manifold screws had corroded away completely and the blower was blocked.
The clicky noise is due to an off-centre axle pump coupled to the axle by a bell crank. There are five(!) pin joints in the pump drive resulting in a lot of lost motion and an irritating sound.
