How do you charge the shot ?

@@bertogametight4488 once you buy the upgrade you tap the trigger then hold the trigger until the reticle glows purple and release. It takes getting used to and it helps if you're not aiming at a target until it starts to charge. If you try to start charging while an enemy is in your sights half the time you go into full auto fire.

I combined your advice about the wind elemental attack with the mission from the video (Chapter 14), except I used it right at the first combat sequence when they land. During that fight, there are 8+ enemies without stagger bars. Shoot them normally to a little less than half health. Use the wind element to pull them towards you. It will count as staggering them, then just finish them off with a charged shot. On Normal difficulty, the charge shot will defeat them if they have less than half health. Before you defeat the last enemy, restart the checkpoint if you need to take out more.

That’s the easiest way for sure and the shock effect works on most non-elite enemies to quickly max out their stagger bar. The easiest place to get this is in Chapter 11 when you have to destroy all those worm nests. These are relatively weak enemies that rely on numbers to overwhelm the Guardians. Until you destroy all the nests they’ll keep on spawning. This spot works so well because you can stagger so many enemies at once and your charged shot will eliminate more than one. Just ignore the nests till you can get the achievement/ trophy. If you get killed just keep on fighting.

I unlocked it in game. Certain outfits are scattered as collectibles and I believe you get three as a bonus upon game completion. Can't remember which one this was.

It stacks. Rinse and repeat

@@Josh.19 So I figured it out…you have to finish off a staggered enemy with the purple charged shot. Some places that are the best are on the later missions such as Ch. 14. Now, idk if restarting checkpoints will count but just to be save. Do it on missions that have many staggered enemies.
