Guardians of the Galaxy Drax the Dismemberer Trophy Guide / Achievement Guide - Dismember an Inquisitor with Drax's Call to Action. [Bronze]
Inquisitor can be found in Chapter 7. It's a robotic enemy with a red laser eye. You can do this trophy against the very first one you encounter. During battle you will sometimes get a TRIANGLE/Y prompt, press the button when it shows up and with some luck Drax should perform his "Call to Action" that unlocks this trophy. He will rip out one of the Inquisitor's arms (it doesn't matter if you do it when he has both arms remaining, or has only one arm remaining).
It's a bit random which of your teammates will do the Call of Action on the TRIANGLE prompt, it's not always Drax. The prompt tends to show up when the enemy is at low health. For this Call to Action, do NOT stagger the Inquisitor, just damage it with your guns. It seems to bug out when you stagger him. You can switch difficulty to Normal or Hard and let the other team members go down, only revive Drax, then it should be him who does the Call of Action and not the others. If Drax never performs this attack, restart from Last Checkpoint and redo the combat encounter.

Guys do this only . You will have the trophy at first try . Just use star lord normal blaster in a circle don't use abilities of anyone. Memebers will be knocked down just heal them.Dont stagger the enemy at all .so don't use elemental gun also.just shoot the enemy reduce the first health and after some time halfway to second health prompt will appear itself and star lord blast the gun and drax removes both arms of the enemy. Trophy alleared.

after hours and hours of trying and reading in the comments section. it is really effective or “high chance” to get drax to perfom is to just do basic attacks and don’t use any abilities to the inquisitors. it just prompt when they are in low health. and i did it on easy difficulty and Chapter 12 that there are two inquisitors (red and yellow)

In the interest this might help someone out there. I was also doing this for a few hours to no success. How i finally got it to pop quickly - I set the difficulty to easy, got to the second health bar (a second one will pop) Just use normal attacks to whittle the enemy life down The first time i did this, Drax’s ‘call to action’ popped. Hope this helps others out.

Thank you to everyone for the tips of attacking normally (with no abilities+triangle attacks), so Drax could tear both arms off in the second phase. Couldn't understand why it wouldn't trigger, spent ages trying - turns out Gamora or Groot kept pulling off an arm in phase one. Thanks again!

@@Rosvend After an hour of trying, it was the only thing that worked for me. It seems like the real trick is to not let Gamora or Groot tear off an arm in Phase 1. You could possibly use other abilities, but I didn't want to risk it. I purposefully didn't build up any stagger with the Inquisitor in case, and just kept shooting all through Phase 1 and used no Call to Action with characters until it was available for Drax in Phase 2. It thankfully worked!

I had already beaten the game and this was the only trophy I was missing. Replayed chapter 7 when you fight the first Inquisitor and I got the trophy first try. Switched it to easy and only used Gamora’s and Rocket’s first ability along with shooting it until halfway through the second health bar.

Guys, the most important thing for this trophy is not to use any of the Guardians' abilities in battle. Blaster firing only, no ice or electricity, normal difficulty

The easiest place to get it is towards the end of chapter 8. Gamora will not be in your party and Rocket will be preparing something. Edit: once you reach this part, sit back and let Drax and Groom become disabled. Revive Drax and it should be pretty easy.

I literally could not get drax to do anything the only time the Y would pop up was if I staggered it but if you stagger it groot will be the one that does the call to action I’m behind frustrated with this achievement lmao

This has two health bars and I don't think a triangle attack on the first health bar will ever prompt a Drax attack. The "only use normal attacks" seemed to work for me. First triangle move on its second bar and Drax did the move

I can't get this one to work, at all. Spent an hour on it. The first arm removal is always Gamora, I wonder if it's scripted, and the second one is always Gamora or Groot, never, ever Drax. I have no idea what's going on. I charge the stun gauge 3 to 4 times per fight, most of the time I get 2 different Y prompts, but it's never Drax.

GOT IT Solution: Set the difficulty to easy Keep shooting the damn robot without using any abilities, the only ability I used was Starlord's Fan the Hammer, when the robot is half health in the second bar, it should trigger drax's call to action

This shouldn’t be a trophy because of how irritating it can be trying to perform this and that you actually have to go online to figure it out after hours of attempts. Still a very fun game though no doubt. It just has a few flaws like this.

Wasted an hour trying to get this trophy. I'm starting to feel that it is glitched. I get the triangle prompt 3-4 times per try but it only has Groot perform the Call to Action & once in a while Gamora. I can't get him to take out Groot at all so needless to say... getting bored now. UPDATE: I did eventually get my trophy

@@toolshedvideo I wish I could give you advice but all it comes down to is getting your combat momentum (doing damage and dodging to get the meter high) and then unleashing your allies' stagger specials in the hope that it will be Drax. Good luck!

Whenever I did this I just let the Inquisitor down most of the party (of course setting everything to very easy so I don't die) so there's a greater chance of Drax doing this

Wow I hated this achievement, what I did was used non staggerring abilities to drain his first health bar eg Starlords bullet fan and rocket bombs, I got a prompt to call of action on first health bar, I ignored it, drained to about 25% on his second health bar then did call to action, it was FINALLY Drax, I think the important thing is to only do the call to action when second health bar is below 50% as Drax rips off 2 arms instead of one that Gamora and Groot do, hope this helps.

I need advice, cause so far I’ve spent over 4 hours attempting this trophy, and Drax NEVER does the move. Always Gamora or Groot. Even got the Inquisitor to knock everybody out except Drax and then the prompt just never shows up. I’m absolutely pissed.

I just got it after about 20 mins of experimenting so don’t use any abilities at all shoot it with only blasters make sure you get past the first bar or never triggers drax with first bar and use charge shots when it’s low on health but don’t stagger it

@@bababz.emmanuel2942 Yeah, you’re good. There are two of these enemies in Chapter 8 - I got it on the first one, but it might be easier on the second as one of the characters is missing from the party (so more chance that Drax will do the attack).

Hi All, Confirmed not bugged/Glitch, if you got no luck geting it on chapter 7, chapter 8 will be the key, as gamora will be out of the party. There is a red and yellow inquisitor at this part. Try doing it on the yellow inquisitor near the end where rocket will charge the explosives. ( just do normal attacks until drax grab the enemy ).

Okay, don’t do what I did. I thought it’d be a better idea to try and get this trophy in Chapter 14 in that chamber where the Inquisitors are made because they spawn infinitely...not a good idea. Even though I tried for a long time to set it up, the QTE for Drax just never appeared. I loaded up Chapter 7 and did it PowerPyx’s way and got it first try. Do not fill his stagger bar, get him down to ~20% health, and wait for Drax to initiate the attack. It should work.

19/1/22 21:18 PS5 I just got the trophy! Has taken me so many attempts but I finally got it! I strictly used star lords pistols and only pistols, no charge shots, don’t use any of the other guardians special abilities apart from groots root cage he uses to trap enemies. Do not stagger the enemy at all! Just keep lowering his health with your pistols and half way through the last health bar the proper popped up for drax! Good luck people

I am shooting normally but only the finisher prompt triangle and circle appears for the second health bar. If I keep normally shooting eventually the inquistor dies. There is no prompt for drax.

I played on normal, I just used standard attacks. I didn't press the triangle button until the second health bar appears. Drax rips both arms off. It needs to have both arms and be low health on its second health bar guarantee you'll get it

Just like other commie t's said: Set difficulty to easy. Only shoot him with normal bullets (R2) until he's got 50-25% health left and the prompt will appear for Drax. DO NOT use powers and or team. Again, only shoot R2 with Peter for health bar 1 and on 2 by the time he's half way or 25%, the prompt will appear. Happy hunting!! 😁🏆

Had to reload from checkpoint 3 times got it after the 2nd health bar on Easy. Try not to stagger that’s what worked for me!

In like 20 tries gamora cut it off 15 times and groot like 5 but never Drax Edit: I got it just tinker in the difficulty settings and then get gamora and groot knocked down and then you can get it.

I set it to hard, normal shots only and let the others get knocked out. Hope that helps someone. It's random but I think I did it like 10x before I got it.

This damn trophy is ridiculous I've done this for 5hrs doing normal attacks on normal & hard to try & get drax to do call to action me & him fight this thing while the team is down its really damn annoying

i think who the archivement isn t glitched but the action of drax is glithched because it s not appear the press button.... maybe after the 1.03 patch there is this problem;i don t know that

Got right now, easy in The end of chapther 08 with Rocket out of team, do not use Groot Action to rip one arm of The robot, leave for Drax rip both arms and 🏆

Not glitch, got it just now, i do advice normal attacks only, until enemy hp's goes down and drax will grab the enemy and the prompt will pop out.

It's so stupid they would let multiple characters have a call to action on one enemy, and the character you need to do it, never freaking does it!!! Idk how many times Groot has ripped this guy's arm off.

Worst trophy 👎 I let the team go down then revived drax and rocket only and kept shooting the robot, using abilities is fine, eventually got the trophy, easy difficulty
