Volt doesn’t need headstart even if it’s “unfair” that gauss practically teleports

Sadly mach rush speed doesnt factor in power strength. That would have been mind blowing.

@dood mandood yes but we’re not talking about mere speed. in missions, gauss has more viability since his entire build is centered around speed synergy. most missions also have tight corridors, and gauss is able to reach his max speed in small bursts. gauss’ 1st ability can also be treated as an attack rather than pure mobility, but i don’t think any of the other frames can say the same

@Clips he feels faster because of the FOV increase volt if given room can be faster but Gauss has instant speed so if you want speed faster go Gauss if you want more speed as you go then go volt it just depends on ones play style and needs

Former Rhino main... I played both, but in races on Rhino against Nezha I always TOASTED the Nezha. Also, my solo speedruns were faster on Rhino; purely for control. Granted, on Eidolon there was no contest - but in the Void or Derelict, Rhino can consistently outperform a lot of other frames (or at least used to be able to when I played) due to mobility potential paired with precision. x/

Let's agree to disagree but I haven't had a volt best me yet in any speed challenge maybe if I gave them a head start but I main gauss on all sorts of missions and I have speed volts run with me all the time for competition 313% power strength is most speed volts and I dont get lapped or overtaken if you main volt and lap gausses then thier not built for max speed I rarely use mach rush so its not a relative speed its actual speed volts only chance is longevity over burst he builds speed over time as long as he doesnt slow down

But I will relent and say they both are fun in their ways but I like leaving trails of fire halfway across maps that's pretty goofy and gauss has my favorite fashion frame now

@@falloutsurvivor5925 Volt has a higher max speed, Gauss just instantly accelerates to his own max is really what's going on. Gauss does get the feeling that it's faster due to the animations provided though.

@@FarremShamist but thats just it, Gauss can insta max speed which makes him the most viable since most of the missions are favored for Gauss. Toggled speed is better than built up time based speed.

Nah, Volt is twice as fast, just gauss has a rather immediate acceleration, Volt has to build it up. Over longer races this becomes even more apparent.

@@FarremShamist but like its warframe bro. 90% of missions Gauss is way more viable since his speed can be TOGGLED where as volt is time based so when you need to go slow for a bit ya gotta wait. With Gauss its way more efficient and flexible

And in that video link if the race was a lot longer with nothing in the way then my Volt would beat my Gauss by 4.38 seconds faster, I wasn't done building up my Speed to my Full Potential which is why I was still Rolling Ngl, but my Volt still won the race without even reaching in my Full potential Speed on Volt in that video link xD. Helminth or no Helminth, Volt wins all day. And dont even try going higher than 300% strength on Molt because Molt has a CAP of 300% strength so my Gauss build is the fastest rn and none can go above it. Volt is still Sprint King since the beginning when Gauss was released all this time 😎

@@rasputinbrown9831 It is. But If you fired a gauss cannon. The particle fired would be faster than the speed of electricity. Volt's attacks should be based on electricity alone. To make a warframe that isn't nearly as fast as Volt and making its abilities based on speed is just plain insulting.

Yeah the video editor I was using by default makes the sub-second part of time code go by frames, but I converted to decimal when I did the average meters per second calculation.

Depends on what builds are used, but I'm convinced that with everything maxed out (power strength and sprint/movement speed), Volt ends up faster.

first of all if you have redline (gauss' forth ability) on, mach rush (his first ability) drains waaaaay less energy and second he was using something called the captura (which to access it you need to press a button while customizing your Warframe's appearance) it's basically just a camera mode lol and in it you have infinite energy and even if he wasn't using it he'd still not run out of energy cause he probably has a mod called primed flow which increases the maximum energy for a Warframe by a LOT

Bit late, but gauss 4 doesn’t make him go faster. It adds more effects, making it look like he does, but the only thing it does to his speed is halving the cost of Mach Rush
