@@mxcrqk the problem was there was no development whatsoever leading to the marriage. We literally didn’t see Curtis and Shiro interact in the show. Curtis is a literal stranger to us so for the writers to marry Shiro to a literal stranger is bad writing and really stupid.

i remember as a kid watching the loud house and not being even fazed that clyde's dads were gay. i never even gave any thought to it. i just remember them being funny characters. i thought of them the same as i did with lincoln's parents. some adults these days think seeing gay characters on screen are bad for their kids. it's not. i was still the same after watching it. but now, after growing up a bit and seeing adults make such a huge fuss over this stuff and watching lots of yt videos of adults complain, i can't help but notice these characters for being lgbt and feel slightly weird about them now. it's also translated to real life, when someone mentions something lgbt i can't help but feel a bit weirded out. so you see, it wasn't the shows that messed me up, it was the adults making such a huge fuss over it that ruined me.

One thing I like about She-ra is how Glimmer and Bow end up together. The reason I like this is bc I do not know about you, but before realizing I was Bi, every time bisexual people were brought up they were seen as "basically gay". And that made me a bit angry because that isn't what bisexual people are. But seeing Bow and Glimmer getting together shows how Bisexual people are just that, Bisexual. Not basically straight or basically gay. LGBTQIA+ people are people, too, our sexuality does not make up our identities. A sexuality is not just "basically" anything, love who you want to love.

Thank you! As a bisexual, it's so frustrating when I say I'm more interested towards a certain gender and people say "Why don't you just be straight (or gay) then?" URM, NO- Just because I'm preferably more attracted to certain gender doesn't mean I'm not attracted to the other one. Being bisexual doesn't make me automatically fully gay or straight, just means I am open towards both with a bit of preference. It's nice to see a bisexual relationship which is genuine rather then just gender-based (Like the characters genuinely love each other and it has NOTHING to do with their gender or sexuality) because basically we love anyone as long as their "the one" which is what Glimmer and Bow did - we don't look at gender, we look at the connection. Also I agree with your point about personality. Seems most people only ever fetishize or romantize LGBT+ things in fandoms, making it more of a personality or cliche rather then just a natural thing. They also tend to make it overrated topic which is sometimes uncomfortable, normalize sexualities being normal. Sexuality shouldn't define if a character or show especially if it's good or not, nor should it entirely be the main focus of the show. Idk if what I said makes sense but basically I agree with everything you said and let's all pretend what I said makes total sense and I'm not stupid sounding.

to the homphobic people out there, i saw a lot of these when i was a kid, and thought absolutely nothing of it. It didn't effect me, i wasn't confused, they were just people in love, nothing wrong with that. Yall getting worked up over people existing even though they really wont have an effect on you are your kids. Mostly through tweets the creator has made and also the BLM stream the creator did where she talked about the characters. Characters such as Glimmer and Bow also are shown to be attracted to people of the same sex although they are never in a relationship with them. As for Marc from Miraculous there is hinting towards Marc’s sexuality from the ambassador here mobile.twitter.com/Ferisae_/status/1022599723662753792 For Kya there’s a comic where she mentions having a girlfriend. Lastly, Harold and Quentin are speculated to be together. I think they were intended to be a couple at some point but not sure what happened with that. So again, mostly speculation. Shiro honestly deserved better, that goes for Adam and Curtis too. They were all postponed all the way until the finally to show any homosexual representation. Adam was killed off, while we didn't get to see Shiro's and Curtis relationship build up.

Voltron one was such a bs. They maked him gay instead of bi because he at the begining he was intrested in girls. The fact that they teaset us with Adam just to make him break up with Shiro and die it's terible. And that at end credits he married to random guy who he had no relation at all it's like a slap in the face

When i saw it for the first time as a pretty little kid in Clarence and i didnt knew Gay were posible i thougth Jeff's Moms just had a platonic Bond so strong that prob. One of them had a kid and the dad left (My dad doesnt live with me since i was born, he lives his own life but he still likes me) and the other one just helped her to raise the child as another Mother for the kid lol.
