Feeling represented for their sexuality or gender is important to children and adults, it makes them feel seen. Same goes for any other form of representation, it's nice to know when we see a character on screen portrayed properly we feel like we aren't alone. That's why pointing this out is important.

I love that Bob Belcher is bisexual. I just find it really wholesome to see a married man with kids whose bisexuality isn’t seen as some problem and a wife who doesn’t find it gross or weird. I feel like a lot of shows have it so that women are repulsed by bisexual men, so Linda and Bob’s relationship feels extra sweet to me.
