On ISRAEL?!?! You do realize that HAMAS was the one with a responsibility to the Palestinian people. Just like the Israeli government holds a sacred duty to provide for its citizenry, Hamas holds the same obligation towards the residents of Gaza, even if honoring it demands some measure of self-sacrifice. Hamas has historically been a failure in this betrayed, but I would argue that their actions over the last several months have not only been cowardly but they represents a shameful betrayal or their people. Let's be clear about just how much power Hamas has had in this situation. Not only did Hamas ignite this nightmare in a way that all but forced Israel's hand, THEY HAVE ALWAYS POSSESSED THE MEANS BY WHICH TO END IT. All it would have taken to prevent all death and destruction was for Hamas to simply release the hostages and to turn themselves in. This obviously would be a big sacrifice on their part given the fact that they would be almost certain to never see daylight again, but the people would have been spared and given the level of depravity they exhibited that day, it's not likely any sentence their might receive would be more that justified. That they allowed the Palestinian people to suffer for their crimes tells you just how much they world and the region would be much better off without them which is why z Israel has no choice but to pursue them as their can be no peace and security in the region as long as Hamas remains. Every life lost and every drop of blood shed is on them.

Hamas existed in 1987. if you don't believe me then go search in Google about when they existed. this is clearly Isr@al fault. They shut off all the electricity, water, and food and closed the gate to send aid supplies to Palestinians who are suffering from bombs that have been raining seen 75 years ago by the isreal.
