As a parent that has lost a son in a tragic accident…… it brings me to my knees every time. Only Dimash can emote with his vocals how my heart cries out with the loss of my son I still feel 20 years ago….. this is so great for me as I am autistic and cannot express (verbally out loud) how I feel. It’s a horrible thing to keep trapped inside. Dimash is the only thing I have found that accurately “describes” my feelings. I know it sounds crazy, but I listen to his music just to help me let things out and let them go. 💔💕🙏🏼

She adopted the orphan of this tragic event. she also called Dimash her adopted son, but, Terry Lin, another singer from The Singer 2017, beat her to it. The other contestants on that show demonstrated so much love for Dimash, knowing how young he was and being in a foreign country without his family. They invited him into their homes and even bought expensive medicine for him when he became ill. He sang this song while he was ill after they took him to the hospital for treatment, The doctor told him no high notes, but later Dimash said when he began to sing he was okay and the pain did not return until right after the performance.

I haven’t seen anyone, ever, pour such emotion and passion into a song like Dimash did with this, unreal. He did sing this on the singer show but lost his voice the night before and had to go to the hospital, he sang it amazingly but not as good as this. The lady who wrote this song ended up adopting the small boy, so at least it had a happy ending. If you go to Gloria Wu’s channel she has a bit more to the story which just raised my appreciation for Dimash to a whole new level, it was already to the stratosphere. There is a brief interview with Dimash where he says he first heard this song when he was, I think, 10 or 11, something like that. Because he loves his family so much he the song really touched him. He decided right then that he would sing it on the stage one day. I don’t know about you but all the 10 yr old boys I know, would not really even listen to music never mind be so affected by it to keep that memory with them into adult years. Even if moved for a moment they would go straight back to their computer games and forget it. Dimash, as a little boy such a unique person, actually thought enough about a song about someone else’s pain that he never forgot. He and Han Hon (sorry if I got that wrong, can never remember if it has the g, han Hong) are really good friends now. He rang her just before he performed it on Singer 2017. Then Gloria Wu has a clip of Dimash with no his voice and trying to get help so he can perform. He went out and sang it brilliantly, maybe not quite as good as this one, and as soon as he was off stage he couldn’t speak again. Such commitments, even no voice, and he wouldn’t give up. Gloria Wu’s channel also has the back story to Autumn strong (can’t remember if you have done it yet) SOS and Daididau. You also don’t get the video blocked because she has tweaked something
