In 1992, Channel 4 bought the rights to show Italian football
At the same time, the Italian Channel Four won the rights to show the newly-formed Premier League.
Our rare found footage shows we definitely got the better deal...

This is superb, the only thing that's missing is a parody of the rapping Italian man on the original. A northern bloke shouting GET RID! LONG THROW!

This is fantastic! Absolute brilliance. All it really needs is someone like Graham Kelly droning "The... Premier... League" near the start and it would be flawless. Not a complaint, though! It's superb as it is.

Missed off the start of the show where a fluent English speaker is having a pint of beer and chips, while recounting stories from the Mirror, Sun and Star in a witty fashion from a Happy Eater.
