Parents: What to do when your child comes out

I've heard from a lot of parents-especially Christian parents-who aren't sure how to respond when their child comes out as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or anything else on the LGBTQ+ spectrum.
Here are some practical tips for how best to respond.

Can I put portuguese subtitles in this video, Rob and Linda Robertson and the one of Vicky? I'm about to come out to my parents and I would really like them to be able to watch these videos, they dont speak english. These videos would help so many portuguese speakers.

Im not gay but that does not matter, I feel the same, im so sorry for you and everyone that has to feel these emotions about something like THIS, its not fair why can't people realise we are all the same we come into this world and leave the same, we are eternal beings having a human experience, and regardless of what body we are born into or who we are attracted to an love, that should NEVER MATTER, we are all ONE not separate, I want to tell you, you are heard, you are understood, you are held, you are loved and you are not alone, sending you and all others affected by this A BIG LOVING HUG :)

You look like the guy from little britain, but more slim. Aaaaand thank you so much for this sweet video. I think my son will come out gay sometime. And I am preparing for a good reaction 😅
