What pisses me off is not the seasonal structure theyve obviously copied 4-5 years late from other prominent IPs. It's how half baked this looks on paper. Like holy shit, either commit to seasonal structure, balls to the wall, or dont at all. This just looks and reads so terrible. Its like some unnamed employees took bits of aeasonal systems from other games, threw them into a blender and presented to us whatever came out on the other side after they took a dump on it.

You will play your game the way WE want you to play it, your opinion matters not.

I think it’s trash! Everyone has to start a new character just to play the seasonal stuff and the last two weeks of the season you can play it on your regular character! New players might be excited but I see them losing a lot of veterans that play this game.

U gotta stop with the people don’t understand it stuff we absolutely understand it we don’t want it that’s all there is to it aiming at “new players” is a bad idea for this game this far in its life because it isolates veterans out and we are the ones that kept this game relevant in anyway most new players will play for a while and move on this game belongs to the vets and we want to be treated that way we don’t like our years of getting our characters just right for them to just take them away from the new content we don’t want it how is that not clear we understand stop saying we don’t we just don’t like it the end

They introduced the expertise levels and now think they are a bad idea, who makes this stuff up😂😂 but yeah the Division 3 is gonna be sooo much better…. Yeah ok🥴🥴

I’m in my 40s. I used to buy the most expensive option of whatever blindly. I didn’t even purchase the season pass this go around. Not sure if seasonal characters is the move to keep a player like me involved and willing to spend blindly. I mean…. For the past 6 years I was just blindly until now. I feel like no return on investment. It is what it is

I understand what they’re doing. There is no lack of clarity. I just don’t like the seasonal character model. I don’t want to grind the campaign repeatedly, even if it is accelerated.

As same as everyone to many hours grinding to get your gear up. Between work family and everything else that comes alone and to put 5 years plus with division 1 dont really want to start over when im happy with my character I've work hard to get

They are still being vague about some things. Like they talk about loot being shared, like is the loot gonna all be heroic/legendary quality because i know for a fact that im not keeping subpar loot for my main character (unless its a max PFE mod).

Well if they're separating people in PVP by either seasonal or main characters why can't they allow everyone to do the season whoever they want and separate those main characters from the seasonal ones? The Intermission sounds like something they threw in to try and please people so instead of people coming in at the beginning of a season and then leaving they'll wait until the end to come in.

The only issue I have is when they say that they wanted to start everyone on a level playing field basically. The problem is that they are blatantly catering to new players. Sorry but I’ve played Div 2 since day one and it should be my choice to run the seasons with a new character or the ones I already have. Ubisoft is forcing those of us with experienced characters to start with a new seasonal character. That is very wrong!

I think this 2.0 system is dumb. You can do a lot of things to make characters stronger without breaking your system. Adding new things and keeping them balanced with the current system is not out of this world. How you keep people feeling growth is by providing something that nudges the character forward but isn’t permanent. Destiny 2 has a mod system that adds more for the season and grants builds a whole new look but is a reset and new potential when the next season occurs. Making people go to scratch and redevelop is a lack of developer understanding on what makes the game an mmorpg/looter shooter. Having your watch reset with new perks or having certain sets have a certain bonus or addictive to it while the season is live allows for builds, grinding and fun to be something everyone can look forward to. I’ll try the first season and if I feel I have gained nothing on my primary I’ll be saying good bye to division. Also, when you say “we aren’t starting over. You aren’t losing everything.” That is a twisted version of the truth. If I have to create a NEW character at lvl to interact with content I am in fact RESTARTING. When I make a Hardcore character to run through the game I have infact RESTARTED. We are making new characters and starting fresh. That is what the post you just read said. Don’t try and make it sound as though we aren’t and it is just more progression. Progression is moving forward not pressing new character. Various treaties on their side presume that with your signal character, you’re gonna be free to go in and just grind whatever activity do you wanna grind the level up?

My issue is the splitting of the community between seasonal characters and main characters. I loved being able to shepherd new players with my main, but now I can’t match with them.

There is nothing unique about this specially that we will be doing the same grind on old missions same old activities yet they still keep saying its unique experience, i dont like seasonal character, what was the reason for expertise, if they presented this idea when WONY came out i will understand it but now no thanks if other like it good for them but its a pass for me 7k hours in this game was nice & worth it but for me its to move on.

We do understand it, we just don't want it.

I 100% expected this. It still makes my main character which as had over 205 days put into it irrelevant apart from 2 weeks out of an 18 week season. Ill give it a look but im 99% certain ill be deleting game

How about put up separate seasons one for the Seasonal character and one for the Main chaaracter.
