The Division 2: Brazen or Perfect Brazen? Deep Dive and Review on the New Shotgun Talent

The Division 2 season 1 of year 6 introduced a new shotgun talent called Brazen. It also gave us two different named shotguns with Perfect Brazen. For me this talent is the best part of the new items that we got in the new season and I have been having a ton of fun using it on some shotgun builds. In this video I do a bit of a deep dive into the new talent and named shotguns while giving you a review and showing you some quick builds that I put together.

A correction on your video, the only difference between Brazen and Perfect Brazen is the minimum number of pellets required to activate the buff. The description on Perfect Brazen is misleading, you don't actually get 8% amp damage on kill. You actually get the full 24% amp damage buff that you would receive from hitting all 8 pellets on target, no more and no less. You also get this on-kill buff from regular Brazen, even though its description doesn't mention it

I've been loving brazen on an ACS12. I know the damage isn't as high but that fire rate really makes a difference.

I agree with this. The fire rate with the bonus damage and the Striker buffs lets you really do some major damage.

Weapon handling can solve alot of people’s problems but players for some reason refuse to use it. It’s unfortunate how narrow minded people can be. Numbers aren’t everything specially if you can’t hit anything

My Glue has reload speed and fast hands so it's relaoding faster than my SMG

We really need an exotic weapon that has a pulse based talent! And no, the blue screen doesn’t count!

But we already have that with talents like spotter and flatline (and there perfect versions) and that is easy damage. Would be interesting though to see what they could do differently.

I’ve been using similar builds but with the busy bee pistol as well, shoot a couple of enemies while they are out of range and by the time I get close to them I’m wrecking face

I love the Like Glue combined with a linked laser pointer, Perfect Spotter talent and the Momento backpack in the build. Also with 4 armor core attributes I can survive PvE solo on heroic.

I run "braced" on alot of my chest armour pieces especially with the m1a cqb. Then shotguns have incredible range and the reload while in cover is very fast

I'm loving the Like Glue shotgun for now but I'm bias as I've always loved the super 90 and tactical super 90 and run with that on a regular anyway so I've gotten use to the slower reload on them. Was nothing like a tac super 90 with optimist to take down the heavies quickly. Can't wait to try out the new named shotgun to see how that works.

I'm loving the Thorn but it seems to struggle in heroic content but challenging is a joking using Hunters Fury with Intimidate and Adrenaline Rush. I'll have to try the Six 12 though.

Is there any division 2 content creator out there that doesn’t mention strikers, hunters fury, Momento, or determined headhunter in their build videos? I’d love to see it. It’s been copy and paste cookie cutter for too long. Be more innovative. 🤔

@@getinstafinished1526 define underwhelming because that all depends on the player. the meta is boring, just because something does more damage or numbers doesn’t make it fun. At the end of the day you’ll always see the same BS being posted. It’s not only possible but it’s easy to out damage these meta builds. No one knows how to create a different setup because of the simple fact of (oh no I’m doing less damage)mindset think outside the box and do just that.

@@BasedBrave you know exactly wht I mean. On average someone with strikers is gonna do way more damage than Timmie and his makeshift build. Either way I make my own builds and just take inspiration from these KZfaq builds. That’s what I’d suggest everyone to do rather than follow these builds directly. And obviously there are outliers that out do’s some meta builds but on average there is a ‘best’ set for each build and that’s just a fact.

Why would you get banned for performing a natural process... and I would rather grind and enjoy the game myself. Rather not get things for free. But each to their own, enjoy yourself
