Wait so is a chemical reaction in which the reactants have more energy than products exothermic or endothermic
@avex36504 жыл бұрын
Exothermic
@diwanoorzai49502 жыл бұрын
how do we know wether the products have high energy or not? so we can either place them low or high?
@LG-tt2qz2 жыл бұрын
A good chemistry textbook should present a list of bond energies called enthalpies. Like a mass balance, you only have to count de bonds in a given compound adding theír respective enthalpies. And a simple enthalpy balance between the products and reactants of a given chemical reaction will let you know whether the reaction is exothermic or endothermic by a calculation known as the reaction enthalpy.

@takachan22923 жыл бұрын
I asked my teacher and when she reply me I will answer you

because the bonds in the reaction are being formed, and this releases energy, hence considered exothermic lmao tell me if this helped
