Do you know what size the plastic pipe on the actual filter head is? Or what size PEX pipe you used? Looks like 1" pipe ends on the filter head? I'm planning to get the same filter system, but my home has 1/2" copper pipe

I know my PEX is 3/4. The actual head side is definitely bigger than 3/4 but I'm not certain if its only 1". I think the expectation is you're converting to 3/4 prior to connecting to the sharkbites included in the system.

Is that special filter just for this unit or can a regular 10 inch by 2.5 inch work? do those yellow parts go on a standard filter? And how is this unit working for you? I have the older GE screw on clear model. The bypass is getting hard to turn and I'm tired of busting my knuckles on the foundation wall trying to unscrew so I'm looking to upgrade.

I installed a new filter. When the system is in filtered mode I do not get water in the house but in Bypass mode I have water? I'm confused? Any suggestions

Hello. I added this whole house water filtration system to my house as well. However, when I turn the main water back on the water flows through my house, but not into the water canister or filter. Any reasons as to why?

That sounds like what would happen in bypass mode. If you have this model, the app would tell you which mode (you want filtered, not bypass). But also just looking at the handle on the front with the big push button, that can manually rotate between off/bypass/filter...
