Hearing his speech in Teochew really connected with me on a much deeper level than any Mandarin speaking PAP candidate. The modern Chinese generation, by the Government's zeal to eradicate dialects, have lost their culture and family heritage. They have been cultivated to become seedless grapes and watermelons.

Our forefathers came from China, all parts of each provinces. They carry along their own heritage and culture. Singapore was built on the fundamentals of the traditional chinese values which integrated across as they cohabit on this island. We should never look down on dialects , heritage and culture as they are our roots as well, instead we should preserve it and be proud. People who think otherwise, so be it. They are only embarrassing their own parents for not upbringing them well.

Having storke doesn't mean they do bad things and it's karma. There's minster or PAP members have storke too. Is it a consider karma to them? I'm a neutral voter, I have my fav candidate from PAP and Opposition party. I don't mean any offence, but the way of you saying it's karma is quite a personal attack.

@@BoyG10 There must be something inherently wrong with you to think only the evil fall ill. Please remember PM had cancer and DPM had stroke, he even collapsed in the middle of a cabinet meeting. Also, if PAP is really kind and honourable, they would NOT have held this election during a MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC!! Over thousands of people leaving the house, gathering at specific locations to vote. If they are kind and honourable, they would not deter employers from testing their workers by threatening to take away their work permit. So good luck to you!! Cheers!!

Strawberryshortcake PM Lee had to hold fast before Oppositions took every opportunity to brainwash younger voters thus disintegrating the moral system of governance further. Without election so to speak do people not go out and gather? Excuses. I suggest you vote for PAP for the sake of your nation. Time to call this Teochew uncle to take backseat. Oh and his motley crews. Singaporeans don’t need a voice. Singapore needs. Without Singapore, Singaporeans will ceased to exist. You’re the one inherently abnormal to think otherwise. Wake up!

Teochew Porridge much better than Prata And Prata ... teochew porridge has lots of flavours and variety. Prata has many variations but looking closely , it’s all the same ... add cheese, or banana , flip and flop a few times and call it a new item and charge you twice as much! I go for Teochew porridge anytime. No offense to my Indian compatriots and I love the wonderful Indian cuisine and also original Prata with and without eggs !
