I made my own a few years ago and I love it. I get a lot of compliments on it at the weddings that I do. I used a white shower curtain for the material that I bought at Walmart. When I stapled it to the frame, I made sure that it was tight and had straight lines. I also use a cardboard box to transport it in. I actually trimmed down a promethean board box to fit my façade.

good shout on the blacklight. It certainly looks good on camera, so I'm sure it will be just as, if not more impressive in person. I've also built my own facade but was not keen on the lighting hot spots produced by PARs, so I ordered a UV light like yours and I'm ready to try the new lighting look at my next gig!

Good job. Someone mentioned earlier in the comments below. Black duct tape will work on concealing the rough fabric edges. Just finished making a façade myself.

Great video. I used Velcro for the back of my façade it holds it together when you transport it. You can also mount some light on the Velcro too.

made a facade but mine is only a table top design. it is MUCH easier to transport and still looks GREAT!!! I use a black table cover so I can hide my gear under it.

Hi You can use Licra fabric you can find it at any store like Joan fabric or right here on eBay just type Licra fabrics , make Shure is white

Instead of using black Fabric and hot glue (which could get messy) id trim the white down as much as possible get some wooden trim, paint it black,and glue it over the white fabric thats left overhanging. that way it looks cleaner and more professional.. just my opinion though hope that helps anyone that's reading this and I hope it helps you thanks for sharing your video I'm about to build one of these for a friend of mine

By more wood and Paint it black then clamp and glue it together to hide the extra fabric it will also double up the strength and have a more professional look other then that nice job.
