It is shown how I cut the teeth of PCB gears. These gears are needed for cutting inch threads on the MN-80 lathe.
The standard set of gears that comes with the machine cannot cut inch threads.

I cut gear teeth on a Schaublin milling machine.
How I made blanks for these gears is shown in the last video “Making GEAR BLANKS”:

For precise positioning of the handle, the movable legs of the sector are adjusted.
This video tells in detail about setting the dividing head: how to set the position of the legs of the sector and how to set the handle for milling each cavity.
I installed the workpiece and the modular cutter on special mandrels.
I made these mandrels in advance especially for this Schaublin machine.
How I made them is shown in one of my videos.

The cutting of teeth is shown in detail on the example of a gear with module m=1 and number of teeth z=64.
Sometimes the distances between the holes on which the handle lock must be installed are very small. The holes are so close that the legs of the sector overlap them.
I don't want to reduce the width of the legs even more. I decided to do it differently, with the help of labels that can be rearranged. As labels I use magnets and a marker. It shows in detail how I do it.
You can do without the legs of the sector when they are located close to each other.
The advantages of textolite are: availability, easy processing, low noise.
The strength of the textolite is quite sufficient.
This is how I made the gears for cutting inch threads on the MN-80 lathe.
