Very nice, modular, utilitarian but seems somewhat heavy when fully loaded! I hope the manufacturer recommends a tailgate hinge upgrade (like the featured Bronco) prior to installation!

We don't. The beauty of the system is that you don't need upgrades. Static weight does not hurt hinges... dynamic weight does. Our system protects from dynamic weight Our modeling has shown that if you stay within our recommended weight capacity, you don't hurt your tailgate or hinges. We've done extensive research both in computer modeling and real-world testing to prove this.

Seem innovative - hope you like it and it’s good at all things and not meh on all things. Would like to see it how the swing gate opens/closes with the bump stops down and weight on it in your real world use review :)

I did an open close in the video with bike on, I forgot to do it with other stuff. Very easy to open and close, it’s a game changer!

Do I need to reinforce the tailgate hinges? Wouldn't be to heavy for the door to carry that when open the door?
