Hey everyone, it's been ages since I've made any videos, but I have made a lot of progress with the game. There are many things still to improve, but you guys have been waiting for so long, I think it's time to finally get GearBlocks into your hands! My planned Steam early access release date is November 9th. I'm also planning on entering the Steam Next Fest from October 9th to 16th, hopefully with a special tutorial demo.

there's something so different about this game that I love so much that's unlike any other game I've played, and that's the physics. In this game everything has such a satisfying weight to it, and the momentum you get when going fast in a heavy car, the feel of the kinetic energy of creations mechanical systems and the torque of accelerating is all so satisfying and real feeling while still having that extreme sandbox type gameplay. I'm so hyped to make all kinds of crazy contraptions.

I have been waiting for this game for 10 years, it was very interesting how it developed, I will definitely buy it to support the developer, for his efforts that he did not abandon the game.

I cannot express my excitement enough, I have been foaming at the mouth for the full release of this game for so many years and I'm so ready to give you my money good sir for this fine product you will be gracing to this oh so undeserving world. All your hard work on this amazing game is unfathomably appreciated, you are my hero for making this game. Its going to be the biggest and best vehicle/machine/contraption building game ever I can just feel it. I wish you luck with everything you still have left to work on

I've played nearly all of the other major vehicle sandbox games in steam (ScrapMechanic, Trailblazers, Besiege Main Assembly, Space engineers, Homebrew) because as a mechanical engineering student, those were the ones that interested me. You guys at Gearblocks are doing something really special here. At the foundation, you have already surpassed those other games by offering a raw and more realistic building style (compared to SM and TM especially) Building is intuitive, and the part selection is great. UI and controls are less intuitive but that's subjective. Very excited to see where this goes. Hopefully we'll see multiplayer with community servers with their own gamemodes etc

Bought this game yesterday and already had so much fun building vehicles. My only suggestion is to implement a logic system like in scrap mechanic this would make the game so much better

Dangersam726, GENIUS, you made the coolest JG of all time and it will go down in the history of gamers. I have a lot of admiration for your intelligence. I'm going to compare gearblocks. This game is like a GTA, but with the possibility of assembling my own vehicles and sitting in the driver's seat and driving with almost realistic physics with impacts and destruction. CONGRATULATIONS I'm going to buy it and tell all my friends to buy it too and spread the word. heavy mechanics I will assemble several machines I have ideas for a MODAL loading machine type of ship ports, machines with claws to pick up containers and move along rails with trucks entering underneath to load the containers.

Love your work I've been thinking about how these game works, but cannot figure how the gears should work. Since this is the only vehicle building game with amazing gears system, I would like to know how this works. Is this just simply with good cog collision, or is there any other way. Would like to know is there a tutorial or forum on this topic

It will be cool if it can be added such as solar panels to charge battery so the battery can power the electric motor or engines

Tried the demo, super fun, just sad I can't place suspensions on angles because I can't snap them as one body, it just falls apart. Sick game though, maybe its just me not knowing how to do so. Also looks like no belt drive or cv axles yet eh?
