Mr2 did surprisingly well for how little development it has. I think if it had the same development time it would be the faster car.

mr2 is by far a better platform for track, it is just that driving it fast is not easy and also that this one seems like a car taken out of a debris container... the civic is well done and has by far better developement regarding track.

I understand everyone makes the mistake of assuming West Virginia and Virginia are similar enough that they are interchangeable. Please note that the state of West Virginia actually split from Virginia during the civil war to stay with the north and that there are really distinct cultural differences at play.

I think you missed the part where he puts the intake cam onto the exhaust side to create a dual vvt for the 2ar. 2ar is the king.

That MRS build has had sketchy handling from day one. I don't know why he didn't dial in the handling first before doing anything else. There is another channel on here where he shows him being interviewed with the car already painted and he still says the handling is sketchy. I know people who are familiar with the Frankenstein motorworks car, it's very fast; no wide body, no LSD.

Yeah. The widebody is for the gram. Spyders can fit pretty wide tires without one. But if you're making videos it makes sense to put effort into aesthetics to get clicks.

Let's take a moment to realise that these guys will wear all the safety gear, but with a tshirt on. This is something very common with car KZfaqrs, stuff like this, or safety belts being loose etc. If you can wear a carbon Stilo, you can afford a suit. Wear it.

bruh 99% of people just wear normal shirts and stuff to a track should they were a suit? yes. is it normal not to wear one especially in low stakes track days? also yes

@@RogueCowTurd I hear you, and I know thats what happens, but from my experience, a track rental for something like in this video, there is usually less presence of rescue staff and marshalls to help you, so I might argue it's more important to wear the suit, if that makes sense.

"Car universally praised for it's excellent handling that has RWD is better on track than a well-handling FWD car" yeah, probably, but if the miata is stock everything except for the engine I would still bet on this particular civic

Not gonna lie, I think this video was poorly produced. It was a let down. How about you guys actually let these 2 battle it out wheel to wheel? That split screen with the time in the middle was a boner killer and not exciting to watch. Let them race on full attack doing 5 laps and film that. Both of them on the track coming within inches of each other if they have too.

Short Ben is going to win, and it’s going to be a stomp. Prep time is half the equation. It almost seems disrespectful from Tall Ben to show up so unprepared. If I were the host of Driving line I’d be PISSED.
