My point was more that I said one thing in another video, and even got a bunch of praise for my position, and then flip-flopped and went ahead and did the mods I had previously said weren't good for the class. I was completely against 2-ways as well, and even went so far as to taunt Abe and Adam with jumping straight into 2-way remotes, at which point I was told remotes would not be allowed. Well, the rules changed, and the written rules said nothing about remotes, so now here we are, a year later, with $7000 (retail) MCS 2WR competition dampers on my car. For whatever reason they just can't leave this class alone. Oh, wait, it's us. We're why they can't leave it alone.

I don’t know if he lost a piston or not but he’s burning oil and it’s a Weapon X engine. Could be a crack ring on the pistons.

@@lopilloevo i wouldnt be surprised honestly. I know LS have issues with piston rings pushing against the crown under load and cracking, so idk if this engineer suffers from the same problem.

He also mentioned he had a low oil indicator, but had oil. Oil pump is must likely out. Not uncommon in the LS and LT world.

Love these videos and they are very inspiring to me to want to get into racing! Also I think the Evo may need a little bit more rotation? I noticed a lot of cars that were ahead had some decent rotation allowing them to hold speed through corners better

Good stuff.....you did very well with what you were working with......I think you could have gone a bit quicker in the wet with a slightly different approach....maybe you could try gravel mode on the center dif, and switch up the driving to suit...slower and steadier on corner entry,,and driving out of the corners harder...the sideways stuff cost you first place

Awesome video! One feedback though. To the video editing team - You guys need to work on the contrast levels of your videos. This one looks like the contrast and black levels cranked up all the way to the roof. Those low light areas are literally invisible. Otherwise, spot on clarity as always!!
