Tag groups are whatever you want them to be. I will be doing a video in the future about tag groups.

Is there a way on Gedmatch that I can use my dna and a 3rd cousins dna to see what matches we have in common?

Thanks for your videos on gedmatch. Is it possible to view the matches that you have over 500 offline? Down load a csv file for example? (a Tier 1 member)

You can copy the whole page to a spreadsheet. I do that quite often.

Re the Compact Segment Mapper. Some of the Chromosomes show two line and some show only on. I contend the top line is for paternal matches and the lower line (if two) is maternal. And the ones that have just one solid line are matches that are unknown as to gender. Please advise on that. Thank you! P. S. I'm a long-time Tier 1 user and really enjoy the tools.

Since GEDmatch has no way of designating a kit as a maternal or paternal kit, I don't think this is correct.

Also, how can I get my highest matches to show in the clusters? It would really help me to place people better if I knew at least one persons info. E.g., I have a cousin I match at 899, she doesn't show up on clusters but is in my list of matches on the one-to-many.

I've been getting a bug with your kids' kits not showing any of their matches except matches to new 2-letter Genesis kits. Is that just an issue on my end, or a bug in GedMatch, or some weird setting you changed?

I'll have to look. I rarely use my kids kits for anything other than demonstrations for videos because I have mine, my parents, and grandparents.

Are your tag groups based on clustering? I didn't realize members could create color coded groups in ged match.

They can be. They are flexible to be what you want. I actually have several different types (some based on clustering, some based on current research, etc.)

I'm Tier 1 and I have tried to run this twenty times, gives me no results. I go back to Free Tools and can run the tool, but when I try to expand the parameters it takes me to a page to upgrade to Tier 1!

Dont feel like the lone ranger. Ihave tried for 2 days and wrote for help and I still cant get the upgrade nor t he matches. Did you finally get some help.
