Hey All! Another Saturday, another gelli printing session :)…Today we explore some super fun mark making on rice paper using Posca Pens and fountain ink! To make quinacridone nickel azo gold do 4 parts golden transparent red iron oxide and 2 parts nickel azo yellow

I think i saw Jacqueline Close make her own quinacredone nicko azo gold by mixing nicko azo yellow with red oxide (4 :1). Beautiful papers Robyn!🍀💖

It’s difficult to find mulberry paper in BC , Canada so I have other papers I will try. The rice paper I have a few sheets of and your black steak paper I’m purchasing. I use freezer paper to create collage. It's really inexpensive and lasts. I purchase the paper on Amazon.

Yes you paint on the smooth side of rice and mulberry papers. OAS - the Yeh family’s business sells all supplies for Chinese Brush Painting. They have KZfaq videos and one on various papers sized and unsized.😊

Great video Robyn, I was watching ( Painted Paper Studio) and on one of her videos she shows you the mix to make your own quinacridone nickel azo gold which Golden shared apparently, Have you tried to get hold of Carnival wet strength tissue paper? This is a strong tissue paper to use on the geli plate, 😊

Yes, because a component of the color is no longer in demand elsewhere so the paint companies cannot obtain it.

@@Pila426 indeed. Hopefully you will like the mixture they suggest. I wrote that recipe here in this thread. I love both of the component colors which I also find very useful in several ways. Perhaps give it a try by making a batch with the small bottles? Hopefully Golden will produce a substitute before too long. They are pretty astute and VERY customer responsive. Drop them a friendly line if you are supporting that idea. Cheers and happy painting to you! ❣️

Yes it will work! and it shouldn't but even if it stains the plate it doesn't affect the plate in any way!
