2nd session just as great as the first. What a wonderful event to look forward to each Saturday morning. Finally using some of the supplies I have been hoarding for years - some have kept well like embossing powders - others not so much like some paints. Another example of use it or lose it.

Fortuny?!!!! You had me at Fortuny! One of my favorite fabrics as an interior designer, versatile and never really the same from dye lot to dye lot....unrepeatable ! Thx Tracy for your professional knowledge of this fabric and vote of agreement!!! I remember the first time I visited Venice and I made my way down the narrow walkways to the shop of this coveted fabric to touch them filling my eyes with the wonder of their colors and textures I didn’t want to leave...lol So when I pulled those prints and saw the color bleeds into the chalk paint backgrounds and subtle shimmer I lost it! This is definitely one of new fav techniques and I’ll continue working with them and sharing with all of my wonderful Creators! 🥰✨💫

@@RobynMcClendon My only exposure to Fortuny is through those large art books of his fabrics and dresses, so I might have just a wee bit of envy (but nothing painful) for you who have experienced Fortuny “up close and personal” . . . But I love that you are bringing us this concept so we can all play.

These beautiful pulls remind me more of Fortuny the dress designer more than the current Fortuny fabric company. Lovely work in any case; inspired me to look for matte paints in my stash. Looking forward to dragging out some sprays from Lindy’s Stamp Gang and giving this a try.

Love the size of the plate you're using. Also love the papers with just the first pull. I can see those alone in a journal. Beautiful! Okay back to watching the second step. After going to my daughter's to celebrate Christmas (an hours drive) and coming home late, I so needed to watch something like this to mellow out and relax. Love your videos. So inspirational. Bless you and all you do for us. I'm back to say, mmmmm, mmmmm, mmmmm,mmmmma! Wow step two was/is amazing. I think I need some of Patty's product. I've seen it before and wasn't overly impressed. You just made it sing!

Great video! I just recently found your channel. I was going through my paints and discovered that the “cheap” set of apple barrel paints I bought at Walmart are MATTE! So happy 😀. You do great work and I love your enthusiasm.

Dang! These are so gorgeous! Loving the interplay of the different types of paints. I got a gift certificate from Blick’s! Put in my order before I saw this. I ordered some chalk and mattes and then here you are. I’m definitely tuned in. I’m thinking Golden High Flows will work. They bead up like that.

Yes they should color maybe too strong to get the washed effects of the stains but I’m sure the difference will still be stunning ❣️💯

As always I totally enjoy watching you create and love your enthusiasm. I got a kick out of your pronunciation of zebra! I travel to Africa once a year and in Kenya they pronounce it just as you did. Now when visiting my grandsons I say zëbra and the boys correct me. I say, "tomāto/tomato." The youngest one, who's 4, will now say zëbra and smile. I love it.

Hi Robin! Watch your videos all the time--some of them MANY times--but just wanted to help with the sliding around gel plate. I (P) put mine on a piece of acrylic slightly larger than the gel plate, then tape it down to the desk. It really helps when I need both hands to pull fragile paper from the plate. Again, love your videos and the inspiration they provide to all of us out here trying to get a style going using the invaluable information you provide..

Actually you are spot on I've ordered acrylic sheets from my local supplier 2 months ago and they are just now ready...lol He forgot to fill the order! but that's my plan. thank you for sharing and hanging out with me :)

I use one of those el cheapo rubber drawer liner rolls. Hope you know what I mean lol. I also use them to get texture on my gel prints.

I so agree. I like what she achieves but all her videos are about an hour long and at least half the time she's just faffing about.

"If it's in a bottle, it's got color, and it sprays, pull it out." I laughed so hard. Yes, I have those Tattered Angel shimmer mists that I never knew quite what to do with. All those orphaned sprays will be used in next gel print session. Thanks for the inspiration!

I bought Distress Oxide Sprays and wasn’t having any luck so I returned to the video and read the comments and realized you are actually using Distress Spray Stains.
