@9:01 #Lol yep! (I use two part, 1 minute JB weld. Used hot glue a couple times, but not with important gems.)

JB Weld works great. I never tried hot glue.

Good info. BTW, starbond ca glue, does separate in the boiling water, also. Did it today. Thanks for the informational video.

Good to know. Thanks. I looked at their website...looks like some good glue...but I didn't see any UV light activated glue...yet.

I found it put under the regular 100 watt light bulb it works as well take about 20 minutes or so.

Yes, I agree. If I was cutting 50 pieces a day, I would look for a faster method.

Great video very useful. By the way how long it takes for your super glue that you mentioned cure up?

I was using Loctite 404 which is available from many sources, including Ultra Tec. I normally left it overnight to completely cure, so I am not exactly sure how quickly it will cure...somewhat less than overnight I guess. However, now I am using a UV light activated Superglue called Surehold by Helios. It cures in about 2 seconds with the UV light. I have started cutting a stone immediately after applying the UV activated Superglue and it works great.

doo? Two of my transfer fixtures came from Ultra Tec and one from a fellow cutter who makes them once in a while. If you want contact information, send me a message in FB as I will need to contact him to see if he is still making transfer fixtures.
