This is really fascinating. I think what Nicholas said about Gemini being an introvert who likes to spend time alone with their thoughts (2:07:45) is very insightful and absolutely spot-on. I am a Gemini and I don't always like to be in the company of other people. In fact, I'm naturally inclined to be solitary and I would never feel alone as long as I have access to the books or a big library!!

I also like the point about how Gemini folks tend to communicate clearly. I am a classroom teacher, and the compliment I usually get from students and my boss is that I am able to break things down and say them in an understandable way.

This one of THE best episodes. I really like the guests and they nailed the essence of the Gemini. I am a Gemini sun and when Nicholas said about the double life and walking with our thoughts. I felt that. Also as I am avid meditator and of course a triple Air sign. BREATH is everything.

44:23 yeah I always thought that the idea of Gemini being "two-faced" wasn't a very accurate description, especially with how that word is used today. It has a very negative connotation, it suggests that the person is malicious and "toxic" as if they purposely deceive people with the aim to hurt them, and I don't see Gemini being cruel in that way. It's just that Gemini as a sign doesn't really have a fixed essence, it's defined by it's changeability and that changeability can manifest itself in many different ways - for example in communication, socialization or in cognition and playing around with different ideas etc. And by no means does that changeability necessarily translate to being a kind of psychopath that intends on deceiving and hurting people. I think it's unfortunate that the word "two-faced" is used so freely in pop astrology about Gemini because that word is very extreme for such a broad archetype like a whole zodiac sign.

I am a Gemini. The closest i come to "tricking people" is telling my friends that "it's not that far", "we're almost there", "it's easy", "you can do it". It's usually followed with, "but did you die" once the goal is accomplished.

as a gemini sun/leo moon combo i’m going to take this opportunity to talk about myself 😌 I really think you hit the nail on the head with describing the poetic aspect of gemini placements mixed with the water influence. I’m an artist and absolutely love expressing myself through creating and quickly pouring my emotions into a piece then finishing. My sun, venus and mars are closely conjunct in gemini in the 10th house and my cancer mercury in the 11th I think plays a huge part in how I create art. One thing I remember hearing from an artist I looked up to was her using the word poetic to describe my art. air really touched me and I think I can thank the cancer mercury/gemini combo for that.

These conversations made the engineer suspect that LaMDA is becoming sentient. Sentience as an awareness of self 🤯

This was great! Funnily enough I’m listening to this during mars in Gemini. I’m libra rising and Gemini sun, Venus, and north node in my 9th house. I taught myself German and the first time I got to have conversations in Germany, people asked me what part of Germany I was from. They didn’t hear any American accent which was cool. Also, I’ve lived about 6 lives and I haven’t reached 40 yet 😅. My dad worked for American Airlines so I grew up traveling. I even became a flight attendant and had a special assignment of dressing as a passenger and observing first class service. The most Libra rising way to explore the world. 😂

This helped me so much. I'm fairly new to astrology, but I've spent some time on the planet...if ya know what I mean. From a very young age, I couldn't figure out how I could be one person for this group and another person for that group. I thought it was my fault for not having a firm belief in self. In college I was told I was too silly to go into my chosen profession...which I did anyway, but my feelings were really hurt. My placement is in the 11th house and I wondered why I cycled through friends and could coldly just let them go if boundaries were crossed. I gradually added musical instruments to my repertoire because I would get bored doing the same thing all the time. SO MANY THINGS make sense now! Loved this as a Gemini rising, sun, NN Mercury Jupiter conjunct. Loved all of the animation and when she said she was trying to control her movement, totally get that. Also regarding timing of disseminating information, yes sometimes can just blurt out info but I find for me I can hold tight if needed especially in negotiations but also for critical situations where I know I need to have more info or I don't have all info to stick the landing or cut to the chase or engineer a sharp ending, if that makes sense. Wow I've learned so much about myself from this. I'm a 10H Gemini Moon as my only Gemini placement. I had no idea that my ease of learning languages comes from my moon! I just assumed it was because I went to school in French immersion. I appreciated your collective takes on Gemini and the duality and the truth about that. Thank you ! I'd like to tell you about my dream. And, I didn't put on my glasses. I fell asleep at the very beginning of this video. I was sleepy to the bone. I dreamt that I had gotten a brand new job. I knew that I was going to love working with these people. I was Happy beyond measure. I was introduced to four or 5 coworkers. In the dream one female coworker shared the amazing experience she just had while interviewing another female for a different position. Clearly, she was impressed beyond measure with what this interviewee had to offer the business.. Every quality she shared about this interviewee convinced me, without a doubt, that I knew exactly who it was that she had just interviewed. I was anxious, I couldn't wait to tell my new coworkers that my daughter, a Gemini, is that person that she just interviewed. This coworker just raved on and on about how amazing this person was, She went in so long with the compliments that I had time to realize I may be seem as stealing my daughter's thunder or jumping on the band wagon. I too, am a Gemini, but, I'm not as Wonderful, as my daughter. I felt pale in the sun shiny picture, of my daughter, described by my coworker. Everything that she said, is true, in real life. She's amazing, person, mother, wife..., you name it.. Maybe, I thought, ' I'll just keep quiet. I woke up and realized it was all a dream. I, am also a Gemini. That is what I remember about he first hour and 52 minutes of this video. This video was amazing. Also, this video was about Geminis, an amazing group of people. I just started listening. I have the Sun 3° Venus 16° and Mercury 26° Gemini 9H. Oh! Nicholas has the same placements! Can’t wait to hear about his experience! Yay! Story time…. When I was younger I went to work with my mom who worked with developmentally delayed children at that time. There was this little girl named Charlotte who was 14 and was hearing impaired. Alllllll I wanted to do was be able to talk to her. I was so curious about her and her country she came from. At the age of 5 I taught myself how to sign by reading this gigantic book about ASL. She was impressed when I could finally talk to her and became very close to my heart throughout that year. I adored her. I have always wanted to work with hearing impaired children still till this day. I was a hairstylist/salon owner for 22 years. Now I’m studying astrology for the last 3 years hard with hopes of becoming professional in the future. Most say with my placement in the 9th that I must speak different languages. I enjoyed every minute of this. And I loved the part on breathing and the nervous system. It can be hard for us to achieve, but it helps so much. Obviously, there are hundreds of nerdy things I'd rather do than taking 5 minutes for breathwork, relaxation and/or meditation but it does help. I have a genetic illness very influenced by stress. I need to dedicate part of my time to calming down my Gemini :-) (Taurus moon is good at that ^^ phew!) I'm a virgo rising. My Gemini sun conjuncts my midheaven and north node, and venus and chiron are in the first decan of gemini as well. Not quite a stellium, though a big placement. We look young or at least we *trick* people into thinking we're younger than we look because of the way we act and react. My wife is a gemini sun and saturn; people usually think she's 10 or 15 years younger. I laughed imagining a date between a gemini and a scorpio because that's how I feel most of the time with my 2 malefics in Scorpio. Aside from them, Mercury and the Moon in Taurus also ensure a lot of fixity in my chart. I don't relate so much about the Gemini qualities like extrovert or novelty. Well, I guess a lot of people perceive me as a chatty, outgoing, network-oriented gemini. But I really am a hermit undercover. Thank you Mercury for encouraging the shape-shifters :-)

This was perfect timing. I just have a gemini mc, and I can say a humorous thing with that is I realized recently that I’m trying to look at various changes related to that mc narrowing down when (especially examining ZR’s) when it’s likely “all of the above” The perfect timing in the episode is suddenly, out of nowhere, getting into composite charts when I don’t care for relationship astrology. There are some direct hit transits with 7th house matters in one way or another where I’m re-evaluating a lot. Neptune going direct on my descendant point that’s near Ketu with Pluto hitting (retrograde) natal juno. Moon transit in 2nd libra hitting the triple conjunction. Since this is where I can sarcastically bring up twin flames again! 😁 The ideology was introduced to me at by an important person during the natal Saturn opposition period who resurfaced briefly at the saturn return which, after, actually put in the “twin flame” ideology as a guideline which is completely different than what’s referred to today. Her chart simply put? Gemini sun, Mercury, moon. Cancer Venus and Jupiter. Leo mars and Saturn. Chaos. 😆 she’s often my example to explain that some people come into our lives to learn something important where, once that information is there, things just move on. In gemini fashion there was so much that it took a long time to decipher. After the Saturn return, I took the mindset that it was an example of idealization. I don’t think that’s completely accurate, I actually do well not idealizing people which is likely a Saturn 1st. Those placements would line up with my 10th, 11th, 12th placements. The Leo mars with Saturn which would be in my natal 12th that looks like a tight sun/Mercury conjunction was both positive and negative. The pattern is (relationship wise) is strong mars placements, another was aries sun, pisces moon in tight conjunction with mars in pisces for example.. the Leo mars pattern is likely that Leo mars is effective in bringing Leo sun/Mercury out of that 12th shell which is important with a gemini 10th with MC there. The idealization would be misaligned house placements where I hoped for that 10th & 11th teaming when it likely wasn’t there. But it brought my attention to it where I became aware of certain long term goals/aspersions. The reason for the sudden split was very related to those Leo conjunctions in the 12th where there was inaccurate accusations which is actually incredibly funny in hindsight, but it was that Saturn Leo anxiety and gemini nervousness along with my not ever wanting to argue with her; but I said (to myself) “if that ideology with TF is true and she believes it, I don’t have to defend myself about something that never happened.” I declared it false. I later adopted it because the ideology (I’d have to go into too much detail to explain it fully) had a powerful resonation. My Saturn return turns out (switching to whole signs) is that I moved in one direction instead of another where Saturn slowly destroyed everything built up during that opposition to return time. Leo mars is great, but there’s a little issue about pacing because Leo mars is supercharged. I’m slower and meticulous, but they do have a point that time doesn’t stand still. Gemini, especially that kind of amped up sun/Mercury/moon.. never a dull moment. Depth? With that specific one, you do have to do some of the depth work alone.
