I was looking at rings the other day. I was torn between,some amethysts,and rose quartz. Then there was one iolite ring in the store's vast collection of rings. I chose the iolite,bc I love it,and because I didn't have a single piece of iolite jewelry in my collection. Now knowing all this,I can appreciate it even more. The blue violet color is like the night sky. It's beautiful,and what a fascinating history! Those 2 of my favorite subjects: gemology and history,I like how they go together,here!
