If you care about something as a fan of a piece of work, using your artistic skills to create a piece of fanart or a fanfilm or a fan cover of something is a way of both furthering your own skills, and creating a love letter to something you care about.

@@ayjay579 false. The animation is done by different people and also it wasn't done by methlokaiju because the animation is significantly different compared to this dude who made a shin Godzilla that looks like heisei Godzilla and the original Gojira blended in together.

My dream is that they one day do Gigan the way he should have always been portrayed, a bad ass monster that USES his hooks! He looks cool in Final Wars, but just gets one shot(the chain saw hands one was over the top, he isn't Gigan without the claws). And the previous movies he seemed tough, but just wusses out. Such a cool looking monster that they could have done so much more with and yet didn't!

Even the backstory of gigan is really sad , poor titan was abducted from the hibernation and time after time was forced to fight titans that were really strong for him , thats why hes always been treated like a jobber . i think i heard that he sacrificed his life in the end to save humanity against Godzilla earth or somebody

It looks like Heisei Godzilla and Shin Godzilla had a baby together, then when that baby became an adult it had a baby of its own with Legendary Godzilla. That’s what this Godzilla looks like. And I like it!!!

FWのとは対照的な、対メガロの時の体型を踏襲しているのか丸みを帯びた体型が新鮮。飛行形態ではその体系が功を奏して飛行戦艦のような印象を与える。素晴らしいデザインだと思います。他の投稿作品がおよそゴジラとの関連性を見出せないものが多いので良さが際立ちますね。

Ok, that was a good Godzilla vs Gigan video. I especially loved the Godzilla using his atomic breath part, smooth animation, huge explosion.

Since Godzilla vs Gigan Rex shows that it and this short are most likely sequels to the Heisei timeline, that makes me wonder if the meteor Mothra went to stop in GVM that was gonna hit Earth in 1999 was actually the first Gigan seen in this video, and Mothra managed to delay it by 22 years.

Gotta say I'm really liking the design of this Godzilla here. the threatening look of Shin, the classic feel of Heisei, and a touch of withered and gritty from Legendary to give the look this Godzilla is very old. I love it. XD

This is the type of Godzilla design I've been waiting for. A more frightening, sinister faced Godzilla with a subtly humanoid head. We havent seen that since the 85' design. Shin Godzilla looked horrific but it looked kind of lifeless and kind of just walking around with no purpose. The Godzilla in this video is the type that will actually "look at you", if that makes sense. Hope to see more of this design! More please!

This is awesome, well done! Funnily enough, I remember one time having a dream about a Shin Godzilla sequel involving Gigan that looked almost exactly like this, shot for shot, then waking up and being disappointed that it didn't exist in reality, so kudos for capturing my dream!

おそらく、ゴジラのこのデザインは、ゴジラの逆襲以降の昭和ゴジラが、同一個体ということを意識しつつ、ゴジラの逆襲で氷漬けにされた状態で現在まで、時間経過した世界で、Mハンター星雲人が侵攻して来たと言ったことだろう。ゴジラは氷漬けなったまま眠りについていたが、地球に侵攻してきた者の気配を感じ、復活してきたという設定だと思う。

I was reading a synopsis of Godzilla versus Megalon, and in it Gigan was described as a giant chicken. It was at that moment, I realized I had never been flabbergasted before. Although, this has not completely ruined the genre, I firmly believe only fans of kaiju should describe kaiju.
