New to this. moto vlogging is harder than I thought. Riding itself is multitasking and vlogging just adds another task.
Testing the whole idea of motovlogging with the following setup:
Gopro 10 Black on the helmet set to 5.3k 25p 4:3 ratio

Mic sounds great. Higher speeds you really heard the wind understandably but I could still hear you clear. Love the clogs and mt 09 raven black is my favorite. Looking forward to picking mine up.

They ride in the left lane here in the states but I lanesplit so it’s more annoying when I’m driving. Audio seemed good until you got up in highway speed so probably just the position of it. I have an hjc rpha 70 which is pretty similar to the 11. They have the chin curtain but also the chin guard is pretty close to the face. So anything with a cat tail will probably do best just poking out of a cheek pad. I know my mic for the Cardo headset sits almost on my lips but since it’s a foam cover it doesn’t bother me. I wouldn’t have the same feeling if it was a cat tail. I know from experience because I constantly have a real cat tail in my face lol

Lane splitting is legal here too but still annoying and quite dangerous to pass cars from the right. I was really surprised by the quality this mike has paired with the zoom h1n, I have another higher quality mic that gave bad results for vlogging. Thanks for watching bro.

Hey bro. All the info you need is in the description. Here are full details: Gopro 10 Black on the helmet set to 5.3k 25p 4:3 ratio ( stretch to 16:9 in premiere) WB depends on the lighting. Sharpness to low, color to neutral iso 100 max and min. Color correct and grade manually. Gopro 7 Black on the bar set to 4k 25p 4:3 ratio ( stretch to 16:9 in premiere) +ND4,8,16,32. WB depends on the lighting. Sharpness to low, color to Flat iso max and min. Both cameras set to -0.5ev and shutter to auto. Zoom H1N recorder set to gain 3, Limiter on, LO CUT 120Hz, 48k 24bit connected to it is a LAV mic called purple panda from amazon. For my motorcycle sound only videos, I use the same settings and place the recorder with a deadcat windshield under the seat.

In my country (New Zealand) we drive on the left and overtake on the right, so our passing lanes up hills predominantly made for cars to overtake heavy vehicles ie truck and trailers etc I have a lot of cars that decide while going uphill that the car in front of them isn't moving fast enough so they pull out to overtake with me behind them overtaking too, except they literally take the whole length of the passing lane, like 100 metres or whatever, to make their pass, in the last 10 metres it always seems, I get fed up and overtake them at 160kph lol, open road speed limit is 100kph

Interesting stuff. Here in my country I feel like people are attracted to the passing lane like moths to a 💡. I usually pass them from the right because they are too stubborn or maybe do not know they should stay on the non passing lane.

I live in Israel (middle east). Yes I'm a year-round rider. It barely rains and never snows. Temperatures are bearable in the winter.

Hey mostreet! I would like to hear your opinion about the mt09 on the highway. How is it in terms of doing a 400-500km journey for example? Thanks..

For a journey that long, yes it is comfortable, although I advise that you get the comfort seat from Yamaha, a taller wind screen and take a brake every hour or so. My longest ride was about 2 hours and it was fine.

Have you noticed the noise of the timing chain tensioner like many other 2021 Mt 09 owners? If so, how loud is it? By the way, great film best regards.

Coming from a husqvarna 701 which are notorious for loud cam chain noise, this bike is very quiet. The chain slapping is only noticeable on a cold start but after the engine warms up, it goes away.

I do not recommend it as a first bike. Get something up to 75hp max.

I bought it used and it wasn't in the best condition. Decided to buy a brand new bike and got the mt09 over the 701 because it's more convenient for my riding.
