GEN 9 MEDIEVAL POKEMON REGION?! In today's video I show off Pokemon designs for a brand new Fakemon Region which is being based off of Medieval Lore and RPG Elements like in Generation 6 Starters! I will show off Starter Pokemon, Pokedex, Characters and more! This goes into the lore of maybe something we can see in Pokémon.
Welcome To My Channel! My name is InfamousTrainer but feel free to call me "Infamous" for short. I'm just another guy who enjoys Pokemon and wanted to make a channel out of it! Unlike usual Pokémon Regions, Tanatto is not inspired by a country or place, but a concept: RPG. Mixing elements of the modern world with aesthetic and aspects of Medieval Fantasy scenarios, Tanatto is known for the eccentric way in which its society is organized. The capital city of the region is Asgara, an ever-expanding metropolis governed by five Great Houses that share the power with each other and are responsible for the politics and maintenance of society as a whole. There, you find more common and similar scenarios of what is expected of a nowaday pokémon region. But the farther you get from the capital, the more things change: villages and settlements grow around fortresses and walled castles populated by people who lead their lives in a mix of modern habits and old traditions. Instead of gyms, in Tanatto we have six Guilds, each responsible for protecting the continent in many different ways - since Tanatto is a very dangerous region. That said, inside the ranks of each guild you will find trainers specialized in specific types of pokémon. The guild of ghosts, for example, patrols the region at night, when the rate of appearance of these species is higher. In order to compete in the Pokémon League, it is necessary for the trainer to defeat all six Guild Leaders, as well as the champions of at least three of the six Great Houses, thus collecting all nine of the required badges.

I'm so broken hearted over this, I fell in love with everything shown here, I haven't felt that much excitement towards pokemon since I was a little kid and playing Emerald for the first time. I wish this was a playable game, it would be absolutely astounding! Finding out is not going to be a game is so hurtful 💔

The designs and concepts for the Fakemon are amazing, my only critique is with the names. I just feel some could be better since they just seem to be two elements mashed together, y'know? Like the main reason I say this is with the Mytho evolution of Heliolisk just being called "Sparklame" Why not something like Heliosear, Heliosol, etc.

In orginal myth She was usually represented as a winged female creature having a head of hair consisting of snakes and sharp talons. Unlike the Gorgons (her sisters), she was sometimes represented as very beautiful. Generally speaking, earlier poets depicted Medusa as a monster from birth, alongside her immortal sisters, but later writers say she began as a beautiful maiden but was turned into a monster by Athena.

That tag on Cursulk is a curse seal. It keeps the darkness/evil sealed away from inside. And the giants reminds me of the powerful knights of the round table, n Arthur himself. I love that Wailord finally gets the Bahamut its suppose to look like. I love these Mytho evolutions n the variants by far.

This is pretty cool region with awesome designs, characters, and pokemon. I love the gimmick of Mythos evolution since it seems like Mega Evolution 2.0. My team would consist of: Treefensor, Holiestt, Mortocam, Goblem, Erimoar, and Cthuragon.

Actually I think that pallosand may have dropped the ghost and gained the dragon type hence the castle. Granted it could be a haunted castle, but this would be the most unique take on a dragon type

for seasonfly im pretty sure the orange one would be fall since the leaves turn orange during that time while the pink one spring because thats when the flowers start to bloom again. and when people make season things pink is normally associated with spring.

A good idea for the Castle Pokémon could be some kinda 2v2 ability that boosts its own defense and the special attack of ally dragon types (idk if tag team battles are still a thing)

The nose on Serpoisan is probably a take on several species of viper like the Nose-Horned Viper. So it does make sense.

tbh, Ash is 100% winning. Reason being that a loss puts him back in Super Rank, but the most important reason is that if Ash loses, him winning against Iris pointless due to the rank drop. Ash such, Ash ain't losing against Volkner. Now, can he lose in Hyper Class. Yes, he can. But not in the first 2 battles in Hyper Class.

tbh, the starter choices in this one are really hard. Normally, i go with Water or Grass (Have only ever chosen one Fire line with Cyndaquil), but this time i am going with Fire. They missed the opportunity with Campull. They should have called it CanPull (Can Pull). Obviously, Toxeleon is a Poison type (Its in the name). No Marill isn't a Pikachu variant/Clone for the simple reason it ain't an Electric type.

Technically, Marill is considered Johtos Pikachu clone(Alongside Pichu), due to the original thoughts of Marill and it's "Beta" name being Pikablu

the gible line is Dragon/Fire - edit: also the Pawestess and Pawladin represent, Priestess and Paladin, Holy Warriors with Magic Capabilities to wield the power of Light/ Gift of Heaven. another edit: if some of you did not know Yes, all professors in the pokemon series are named after a type of tree, Professor Beech is one of them, Beech Trees exist... Dont worry the artist knew what they were doing.

I'm confident that Duergon is a play off of Duergar, which are most notably (possibly originally? I have no idea) from DnD. There's a bit of nuance to it, but if you think of them as "evil dwarves from the underdark" then you're pretty close on their usual depiction.

The eye tag in the middle of the frog pokemon's head is alluding to its third eye (the pokemon being part psychic type). Lol. And I would, hands down, go for thr water starter, mainly because it's final evo is part psychic (my fave type). Though, the fire starter is a CLOSE second!

I personally believe that Incineroar was originally meant to be fire/fighting type but they changed it at some point after everyone online started saying how much didn't want another fire/fighting type starter. It's a wrestling tiger Pokémon definitely was going to be fighting type
