I don't know about your comment regarding not being part of the trans community. For the most part, I don't count myself as part of the community. The reason? Because the worst hate and transphobia about my coming out that I've experienced has come from the community that promotes itself as a safe space. I've been called a fetishist because I initially identified as a crossdresser, been accused of sexualizing my son because I took a picture of an outfit in our one full length mirror which happened to be in his room, shamed for asking for non-binary versions of gendered words, and blasted because my first safety plan for myself didn't pass someone else's muster. However, a non-binary individual putting literal Nazi symbols masquerading as Nordic runes on their body (example: the double swastika) in a forum I joined got a lot of praise while I was condemned for just informing the person of what the symbols represented. I don't need that in my life. I don't feel like enduring that is going to change the community. I follow your channel, because it's actually accepting and discusses gender and sexuality in a deeply nuanced way. I follow Mia Mulder because she does the same. I don't follow Jeffrey Marsh, because while many of their videos are great, they're one of the non-binary people who thinks they/them should be universal for describing the non-binary community and I don't want to be called they/them. I want to be called he/she. I shouldn't have to feel othered by another non-binary person. I don't find the trans community very accepting or safe. It's not everyone, but it's enough that I don't want to be part of it. Until that changes, I don't feel I need to endure it in the vain hope that I alone can change it.

I'm just thinking about the intersection of people who don't think parents (with the expressed request/consent of the child) can make certain medical decisions, but also feel like kids ultimately can't do anything their parents don't agree with.... While also claiming to respect bodily autonomy and consent.

Hi! I’ve been looking at your vids and I want to start low dosage and before you said you didn’t want facial hair (which I don’t) .. did u ⬆️ your dosage and changed your mind or it just came from your low dosage of testosterone throughout the time? Just curious

We need more options, we need more than just transgender identification, we need more than just gender critical. Sex is immutable however that shouldn't stop us from expressing ourselves. It shouldn't limit us from the human experience. People shouldn't need to identify as non binary, transmasculine, transwoman etc. I see it as more unnecessary steps to get to a world in which we are all seen as individuals. Society is built on gender I understand that, but just like the trans-movement we should promote being individuals who cannot possibly be described in one word or a few labels. Yes I am critical of gender but my views and opinions should never ever erase the views and beliefs of others.
