Күн бұрынA rare recording of Gene Kelly singing “ If I Could Be With You...” It was a song he regularly sung at his famous parties at home on Rodeo Dr. in Hollywood in the 1940s and 50s. It was featured on the late Sue Cadman’s “Gene Kelly Creative Genius” website.
I mixed clips & photos of Gene focusing mainly on his early years in Hollywood and his love of physical activities and family but I also put in a little of everything :)

Just great. As always. I started out every morning listening to this song at Sue's blog. When the former president-old what's his name-got elected, listening to Gene's voice gave me great comfort. I still cried all the time.

I recently was able to purchase Pal Joey on Broadway with Gene singing & just love it, but very difficult to find !

People who like to say Gene couldn't sing (and he was one of them) are crazy. He's not Nelson Eddy-would we want him to sound like that-but his voice is unique, tuneful, and instantly recognizable. I love listening to his singing voice, it's like being wrapped up in a warm, fuzzy blanket.

I’m afraid I don’t know. This copy of the song came by way of one fan to another. I haven’t found it on any album or record.
