Just a point of clarification. My understanding is that a given segment of dna can code for multiple proteins. An intron for one type of protein may in fact be an exon for another protein type. So in one instance an intron may be a throwaway piece of code but may be required in a different instance.

How can we differentiate two cells of a single organism on the basis of gene regulation ? Because we know a perticular cell always secrete a perticular protein, that's why this cell is unique
