Hi, I believe I'm a patronymic descendant of Arnulf of Metz. Same y-chromosome as Arnulf: R-M167. My ancestor was Guérin de Provence. The family name became Guarini in Italy and Garon/Garin in France. Tonance Ferreol is our ancestor as well. It makes sense since he was Gallo-Roman. R-M167 were displaced from Spain to France via Lugdunum Convenatum where they merged with Roman nobility. The Roman gens Afrianus is related to us through marriage. I can claim so many identities from the past, its ridiculous.

Hey family! I'm trying to get farther then Arnoald (540-611) but I can't figure out who is right on his parents. Is it Ansbert and Blithilde or Bodegisel and Oda? If it's Ansbert I have it tracked all the way back to Kleitosthenes I and Asclepias. If it's Bodegisel I have hit a dead end. Help would be very appreciated!
