What's nice is that the front panel used to deflect water while swimming can also give additional protection to the APC from a frontal rocket or heavy mg attack.

bestamerica It's middle I guess it's a air filled tire with another full solid tire inside of it, when you shoot the outer one the air will go out and the Piranha will ride on the solid one

Same run flat technology as on cars, this is where run flats started. They have a reinforced side wall so even with no air in the tyre it can still roll and take the weight of the vehicle without collapsing

To the guy who think shooting the wheels will stop it: there is no air inside. Just metal mashes and rubber. I'm gonna sit in those again for the next 4 weeks. If you wanna stop it you can aim to the body because if you hit it in the right angle a 5,6mm bullet and up is gonna make its way through (worst case). But then again if you miss...

How are you, man? What's the difference in role between an APC and an IFV? The first is for low intensity conflicts and the second for high intensity? Thanks.

+Matheus Moreira APC job is to transport troops, normaly they are armed with a heavy machine gun or automatic grenade-launcher and sometimes remotly controlled, an IFV job is to protect the APCs and ther troops and to provide fire suport destroying light to medium vehicles from, jeeps to other APCs and IFV,if the IFV is armed with ATGMS (M2 Bradley for exemple), it can destroy tanks

+Patrick Bach Every APC and wheeled IFV is based in the same design to the BTR-60, some with heavy design changes but basicly the same, its the perfect design, the LAV-III, Pandur,Boxer, Piranha, Patria etc etc
