An armoured personnel carrier (APC) is a broad type of armoured military vehicle designed to transport personnel and equipment in combat zones. Since World War I, APCs have become a very common piece of military equipment around the world.
According to the definition in the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe, an APC is "an armoured combat vehicle which is designed and equipped to transport a combat infantry squad and which, as a rule, is armed with an integral or organic weapon of less than 20 millimetres calibre." Compared to infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs), which are also used to carry infantry into battle, APCs have less armament and are not designed to provide direct fire support in battle. Infantry units which travel in APCs are known as mechanized infantry. Some militaries also make a distinction between infantry units which use APCs and infantry units which use IFVs, with the latter being known as armoured infantry in such militaries.

The Lazar doesn't look like fun to drive, I'm not surprised that this video shows it staying and shooting most of the time. The gun of the ZBL-08 looks VERY unstable when shooting, it isn't vibrating, it's shaking.

But cost dictate with stabilisers for cannons, Serbia have better one Lazanski with Russian 57mm stabilised cannon. Lazar is cheap version,less than one million each and you get Perkins engine and everything else very good

The Iveco Guarani was missing... the 6x6 are much more agile, they come out of inertia much easier both on land and in the water and are better in urban combat... transport the same number of troops, with the same protection and because they consume less fuel. less weight and go further.

Iveco Gardian is IFV 6x6 vehicle and this is list of 8x8 armored combat vehicles which does not deny that the Guardian is an excellent combat vehicle!!! Well done Brazil!!! Greetings from Serbia 🇷🇸 and as soon as we do RCWS 30mm which we are currently finishing development, we are starting serial production of Lazar 4(3M) with armor Stanag level 4+ and from the front level 6!!! Real combat vehicle without windows on side of vehicle, and will not longer be half MRAP or MRAW like the last Lazar 3 which was on all sides Stanag level 3 and from the front 4!!! It was produced with RCWS 12.7mm!!!

And i think the boxer have the thickest armor of all these vehicles. And have the most usable plugin modules - transport, apc, aa, howitzer,... which can be switched in 30minutes. And there is also a chassis on tracks available.

Not really. Poor fuel mileage, most you can't stand up in, not much room for toys, and you make a lot of noise. No kitchen. No bathroom. No bed. High price. Much better choices out there for conversion from military. Oshkosh M1070 8x8 Extended Cab would be nice. Build a camper box on the back. Not much is going to stop that.

There (in this list) isn't (need for) Rosomak because it doesn't just "base on" Patria AMV, IT IS same actual Patria AMV (aka Armored Modular Vehicle). Rosomak is just Polish army calling name for that same Vehicle, not the model name or brand name.

Those two are different products... Patria AMV is the one that is in use in Finland as XA-360 and XA-361, Poland as Rosomak, Sweden as Pansarterrängbil 360, South Africa as Badger, etc. Patria AMVXP is the more advanced version that Japan and Slovaks ordered. As I understood it, AMVXP is the one that can be autonomous, remote controlled. I'm sure the Japanise will come up with own name for AMVXP, in written letters we cant read. But whatever it is, it is more advances than what Finland and Poland has.

До сих пор не понимаю,почему "Бумеранг" не в массовом производстве,он на голову лучше БТР-82А,лучше десантное отделение,удобно заходить и выходить,скорее всего броня тоже лучше,а самое главное,это возможность запустить ПТУР.Я думаю,он раза в 3 дороже БТР,но всё равно дешевле многих в этом списке.

The Eitan is the only IFV with APS (Trophy) and can be equipped with the Rafael Samson RCWS and Spike ATGM. To my opinion, it should the first in this ranking. But thanks for this video, very good work ! :)

And Patria AMV (XP too) can be equiped with Nemo mortar turrets and those can be synchronized for all vehicles to shoot target at the same time and even on move. Quite advanced. it will also be very interesting to see what AMV XP japanese version will use, something automated according to predictions.

The boxer can be equiped with a 155mm howitzer module(RCH155) or with a 120mm L44 gun. But I don't know why the pirania and the patrias are on top. Because thy are cheaper? And every APC can be eqipped with APS and Spikes.

Gledao sam par kanala realno Lazar je bio prvi a Strajker zadnji i Patrija. Strajker je smešan al ipak je to Američko i to je najbolje inače nemože da se poredi sa Lazarom 1 a ne 3 tako i svi. Treba biti realan. A cena 1.000.000 ajd bar da je skoro 2 mil i vredi. Nasprem Strajkera koji nije amfi niti ima stanag gume ništa staro vozilo a preskupo. Patrija amfi je ko naš BVP 80. Sad gledam nešto po sajtovima nemogu da verujem pogledaj kako izgleda naš Kurijak što smo trebali sa Afrikom praviti. Vozilo je brutalno i nisam video ništa bolje do sad samo što je 4x4 moćno ogromno jako amfi ne naoružano nego prenaoružano ima rakete razne kalibre topova pametnu municiju. Da negovorimo o EL stanagu itd. Ovo kad bi imali bar 100kom bilo bi dobro ne za prodaju jer vredi jako mnogo. Svi ovi prikazani padaju u vodu kad pravi Kurijak dodje. Pogledaj malo imaš neke makete od nas sa 3x3 ali ovo na sajmu što su čak i Hr komentarisali tu nema šta reći. Vozilo je ispred svih 20god ogromno veliki točkovi zaštita samo što neleti i nemože ići po plafonu inače je najbolje od svih u svetu. E sad dali će ga praviti šta će biti neznamo jer vidim da je u boji za pesak.

It is very militarical-stucking, smoothness-disturbances - i just ride a small of this can it happen as vehicle for any journey? The tyre type, it is same size as jeep is nice. Too many pictures, much too less information. What about the weaponry, the number of soldiers in the back, are 3 or 4 men needed to operate the system etc. pp..... Interesting vehicles, but close to zero intel about the systems operating.

БТР №1 - это украинский бтр-3. На №2 - бтр 82, но лишь при условии установки на него 2 птур. На №3 итальянскаяя фречия, опять же при условии установки 2 птур и уменьшения цены в 10 раз) Отдельно я бы отметил сербрский бтр лазар 3, исключительно как хороший транспорт. Эвакуация раненых, подвоз боеприпасов и так далее. Не для боя.

But the Piranha is, in many ways, the grand-daddy of every non-Soviet 8x8. It originally served as the basis for the design of General Motors' designs, which eventually led to the LAV 3 and the LAV 6. General Dynamics later bought GM's Canadian defence business, and the company behind the Piranha. Indeed, I wouldn't be surprised to find out they're involved in a number of entries. But the designs still come from specific places. The LAVs, while serving in the US, Australia, New Zealand and elsewhere, are a Canadian design. The Piranha is a Swiss design, likewise.
