General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that another big return is in the works - and this comeback will be for more than just a single episode. Bryan Craig (Morgan Craig) is headed back to the show for a one-day popup this August, but now Deadline is confirming that Jonathan Jackson is reprising the role of Lucky Spencer for a much longer stint.
When GH Executive Producer Frank Valentini teased the return of a former male cast member who fans would go crazy for, he was obviously talking about Jackson.
Now that the news has been released, many viewers are indeed getting excited about Jackson stepping back into Lucky’s shoes.
The last time Jackson was seen on GH, it was for a short stint back in 2015.
Although plenty of fans have always held out hope for Jackson’s return, they’ve been stuck waiting - until now!
Jonathan Jackson’s first airdate back as Lucky Spencer will be sometime later this summer, so that’s something to look forward to. (con't ...)

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that we’ve got some comings and goings news to share, so we should discuss a return that many fans have been looking forward to. You’ve probably heard by now that Mac’s time off-screen was due to John J. York’s real-life health crisis.
Although York was diagnosed with two blood and bone marrow disorders, he’s received treatment in recent months and returned to the studio in May.
Now York’s new scenes are finally set to hit the air, so let’s talk about his return airdate.
According to GH spoilers for the week of June 17-21, Mac will be back on-screen starting June 19.
The show wrote in a mission that Mac’s been tackling elsewhere, so he may have some stories to share from Argentina and anywhere else his assignment took him. (con't....)

Sounds like he may return on contract? Hopefully Lucky has matured because he always used to be upset and angry. I don't recall if he ever forgave his father. Genie Francis normally takes summers off, Laura may not be in Port Charles when he arrives. Doubt he and Liz will get back together, but he can be there for Aiden.

I dislike when they bring characters back for a one-off. Morgan will probably be in somebody's dream, maybe Sonny's or Ava's, then gone. They did the same thing with Nelle when Willow had a nightmare a year or two ago. If they can't return for the long-haul, I'd rather they didn't return at all.

I've always liked the character Lucky and I'll be excited to see him, but will he be used, GH is known for a bloated cast with only a handful being used.
