I take many quizzes. I do them for enjoyment and to keep my mind active. I have recently been the recipient of some very nasty and rude posts, calling me a liar and doubting that I am capable of making the scores that I make. I will no longer be posting my scores. Suffice it to say I enjoyed the quiz and did just fine, Thank you for all your hard work in presenting us with enjoyable quizzes. 👍You are greatly appreciated Ben

I am sorry to hear that. Where I see comments like that I do delete them, but often miss them when there are lots of comments on a video. I too get some hate comments, but delete them and try to forget them. It's unfortunately one of those things. Please continue enjoying my quizzes. 👍😁

I am 75 and I let my emotions concerning being called a liar...get under my skin. I do understand that there are trolls out there just loving to do this type of thing. It looks like the wasabi question caught a few people out. It's funny, when I think the quiz will be easy, everyone says it wasn't. When I make them more difficult, all the comments say "too easy!" 🤣 I honestly try to find a balance of where the average person will score well, with some educated guesses and enjoy the experience. I will keep working on it. 😁

My first time here. I was 67/75, or -8. Being a typical, provincial American, I missed several geography-based questions, including my first miss...on the SECOND DAMNED QUESTION. (Kilimanjaro is in Tanzania? Who knew? And Dublin is a small town in Northern California, right?). 😢😊

I would say thar water skiing is indeed legal in the Sea of Tranquility, yes. I don't know of any law that prohibits it. The challenge is actually finding water to ski on... I bet the wipeouts would look awesome, it'd be like seeing it in slow motion...

Nr. 6. Wrong. Edison was not oponent to Tesla. Nicola Tesla invented and introduced AC current and Edison was mistaken. That time 19-20th Century the technicians were not able to construct and introduce DC current system in a Large Electric Power Networks. The AC system is not oponent to DC because it is completely different electric system.

73 and you got the soft landing one wrong. The first successful soft landing on Mars was 1971 (Mars 3). The first successful one on Venus wasn't until 1972. Venera 7 did land in 1970, but it was only a partial success. Venera 8 landed successfully in 1972.

Thanks for commenting. Venera 7, although the parachute failed, it survived the impact and still broadcast for 23 minutes. All the reference resources I have found on this still count that as a successful soft landing. I guess it's open to interpretation as to what counts as a "soft" landing. The dictionary definition is ”a controlled landing of a spacecraft during which no serious damage is incurred". 😳

Thanks for commenting, but they are definitely called souks. I have been there, and if you Google what is a souk in Morocco, you will see all the results say a type of market. Medina means old town or city centre. Here's one of many references www.mariposaskies.com/what-is-a-souk/

It's not Google. There are very many articles on very many different websites, that all day the same. "A souk and a medina are two distinct elements you often find in many North African cities. Think of a souk as a bustling marketplace and a medina as an ancient part of the city." Also, the following dictionaries state the same; Oxford, Cambridge, Collins, Miriam Website, Dictionary. Sorry, but you are mistaken in this one.

None wrong but I don't see the point in quizzes. What does it all mean when you get them correct? I don't feel like I have achieved anything as there are 20 zillion more questions someone could ask. There is no way any human can get 20 zillion questions right so what's the point!!! This is why I have such a distain for nerdism . You don't die intelligent, everything you have learnt through life gets buried with you. So I suggest just don't bother learning what you don't need to know.
