We have an ACL Drayton hall stat and basically,its stopped working my question is to avoid rewiring,can i simply leave the wallplate in positon and by the same one again,if that is they are still available,The click you mention on our is no more ,

Now that I don't need heating but I need hot water. When I press the button on for water and off for heating, still I get heating though the clock shows heating off. My radiators are hot. How do I solve this?

Is it better to set 18 and leave boiler on all day or stop completely between 11-17. ?? Will it not start heating from scratch at 17 oclick?😊

My boiler was not being controled by the room thermostat. It was only two years old and I thought it couldn't be faulty as the previous one lasted 40 years. It was not clicking with the control dial. Nothing told me on the web how to solve the problem. I took the unit off and closed up the contacts on the rear plate so when I replaced the front unit the pins made a perfect contact. PROBLEM SOLVED.

hi i have a central heating dial on my hall wall and when i put it below 18oC it does not work, why as i thought it should also work at 10oC, i hear a little click around the 18oC Bit.
