Who wants 4 schedules? I want a thermostat, if it is hot, I want to press the down button to make it cooler now. If I am cold, I wan to press the up button to make it hotter. Why would you need anything other than that? I am so hot in this house right now, and it isn't even summer trying to figure this out.

These instructions are great so I was puzzled when my heat still didn’t come on. I called Honeywell and spoke with Alex. He had me remove the cover. A white and red wire were coming from my wall which needed to be inserted in the W and R slot on the unit. My white wire was in the RC slot and it needed to go onto the W slot. Once I did that, the heater came right on. So I had two heroes who helped me keep my sanity. Thanks to you both.

Great tutorial. You explain everything in a fairly easy layman's terms. Even though I worked in the property management industry for many years I was drawing a complete blank on how to program my elderly parents thermostat. (I'm a brain injury survivor)They have had this controller for a few years now and it's been flawless. As for the trip A's the ones I just pulled out I put in 2 and a half years ago. Run nothing but Duracell. Great job and I'm now a subscriber. Keep up the great work 🍻

Hey, AA-excellent tutorial. Replaced my batteries and didn't know how to program this thermostat as the instructions were nowhere to be found. You made it easy. Thanks a bunch!

I highly recommend this video!! In Texas and summer in early June is already hitting the triple digits. I remembered this guy’s video had easy to follow instructions. Set temperature schedule for my 85 year old mother. Thanks again!

I'm pretty good at stuff like this most times, however, I lost the booklet and this thing had me frustrated and my house was cold to boot! Your video was extremely helpful and to the point, you just added a new follower. Thank you sir!

*THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS* ‼️ It's actually very easy to set up once you get into the rhythm of it-- it's just that the damn thing JUST DOESN'T WORK even though I've put brand new batteries in it! First of all, when I went to set the time as shown in the beginning of the video, it was stuck on AM and wouldn't turn to PM until I scrolled past 12:00AM about 8 times. I've learned from this video how to override the "Set" temperature, but the problem is that mine is stuck on 81° and when I put in the lower temporary temperature it goes right back to 81° or 82° as the "Hold" temperature. There's no way that all of these people just don't know what they're doing. The problem is with the appliance not the users.

Great Video! 👏🏿 You did a very good job with explaining the functionality of this Thermostat. Honeywell should hire you to promote all their Thermostats.

I’ve been really stressin over this thermostat. I removed and installed this one with my teenage daughter! So that itself was an accomplishment and still more straight forward than operating this honey well thermostat. Thank you so much for this video I just was able to bypass the stupid schedule !

I watched this video for the first time back in December when I moved into my first apartment and couldn’t figure out how to turn on the heat. Here I am 6 months later watching it again to figure out how to set my AC. See you again in a few months!
