Could Adak Airport be a midpoint hub for Asia and USA? Single aisle planes don't have enough fuel to go across the ocean, but Adak is right in the middle. Offer 1night stay over in the wilderness could be enticing for a few, like how Iceland is a hub.

I was stationed on the USCGC Storis. I flew out to Adak on a C130 to meet the ship. I actually bowled at the old bowling alley lol.

Yeah everything was super expensive! I don’t think they showed that on Netflix! Hahah. It is the only store on the island
